I am not nocking the hp runes. I certainly use them on Pantheon and Volibear. Also, I don't like to get in the frey but I rarely find a champ who doesn't actually end up in the middle of combat. There is no way an ad melee is letting me cast from the outside. You may be surprised at the range of Fox-Fire. For most combat you stay well out of melee. I do, however, think that every ad carry is out to assassinate me. Ergo my preference to the runes I use. I am far from claiming this rune page as superior.

As for results, I will be posting some videos when gameplay stabalizes. I know some people like the video guides better. You can get a more founded idea as to how successful this build is and why. Generally, I run in the positives for k-d, but I have had about 50% games with leavers.

I don't know about the math either. But I have read the argument that resistances themselves are not effective without increased health. It seems sound, especially on Dominion. Consider also, as a ranged assassin if she gets closed on in the initial fight she is dead. Being able to stay back and take a few more ranged hits vs mitigating a paltry damage seems to be the most beneficial approach.

Course since I have no data to back it up it is just hearsay... and your build seems focused on getting into the middle of a brawl. Dont let me convince you otherwise if you dont think it will help.

How have you done with her in game? Ive been building Ahri based on cooldown, Ionian boots, Morello's... etc. My average score is around 14/8/16 (vs talon every game... its weird).

I was suspecting that pure AP might be better because when I die those few seconds are not mattering much. But after reading this I think pure AP is likely the way to go.

Wouldn't she be better though if you gave her more health instead of resistances? That is my experience on dominion; that health per level are more useful than a handful of runes which don't scale the the increased gold and xp gain.

Also why take out of blast which will give you a net of 18 vs the first level ap mastery?

Wouldn't abyssals be a better option than FoN?

The HP argument is one I have with friends a lot. The boiled down version is that I find true damage to be rare enough that armor and magic resist are more beneficial. If there is math to solidify one side of the argument I would love to read it. Otherwise I'm guessing it's preference. They do boil down to about the same thing.

I take out of Blast because I'm bad at math when I'm tired and grinding Ahri. Change made. Thank you.

Very useful guide. Just went 16/14/12 with it. Her only problem is her extremely weak early game.
