I personally would run armor seals, but this is pretty much 100% what i'd run item/rune/mastery wise on ahri.

Nice Guide appl! this is a Fresh Ahri guide , not based on the classic "Doran Doran Hextech Rylai".

This build isnt weak, But i think, the items order dont benefit Ahri so much.

i really like use as core and first item Hextex revolver, and thenrush Rylai. and LATER Rabadon.

Why?:

Ahri gets SO SO much synergy from Hextech (or WoTA) / Rylai Pair for survavility and gank. Why? Fox Fire.

FF can be popped w/o stopping, and apply 3 passive Stacks, Sell vamp and SINGLE TARGET SLOW, making a AWESOME runnign away or Chasing Method.

i love rush hextech, but i must admit, the Ahri core item should be the Rylai, and later go for rabbadon.

btw, how do you stop Le blanc? she rapes me on 1 vs 1 if i dont kill her at least 1 o 2 times before 6.... and if i make 1 mistake...

@MrCuddowls

The part where you said Abyssal isn't useful on casters. Ahri gets close enough to make use of the aura, so it's a good item on her.

Well i've tried the guide and I can say it's pretty good. Getting early magic resist reduction instead of AP is good on Ahri cuz of her lowish AP ratos. Although I do think Rabadon should be taken second because you are a caster and need a bit of AP.
The rest of the guide I perfectly agree with. I usally kind of mix the item build with LaCorpse's guide (aka rush hextech revolver for spell vamp).

On the maxing W or Q first topic, I think that maxing Q first is better for the poke you get and I think that with foxfire, you need to get too close for comfort to do damage.

Overall good guide and an upvote from me.

I like using Abyssal on Ahri because she gets close to people to make use of it ^^

Cuddowls everything you said was wrong.

There's a REASON they nerfed abyssal

Maxing Q for lane presence is better. Maxing w gives no lane control.

I would like to know why you chose what you chose for masteries. There's only two.

I didn't go into detail with some masteries because most of them are either obvious or required to unlock a new tier. However, if you are really interested, I don't mind laying it out for you. :)

Sorcery - Out of the offensive tree's tier 2 masteries, Sorcery is the most useful for AP carries.

Arcane Knowledge - For AP carries, this is probably the most important mastery of the offensive tree. 10% magic penetration as a lot and can scale pretty well.

Blast - Once again, we needed more points to unlock the next tier. +18 AP was the best choice here.

Archmage - Same old story: We need points and 5% additional AP is really not bad.

Executioner - And this tops it all off, increasing your damage even more.

Summoner's Insight - Using Flash is great on Ahri. This gives 15 seconds less cooldown which is amazing!

Expanded Mind - You could argue whether Improved Recall could be a good pick or not. But my personal preference is, that I rather invest in masteries that help me during a fight. Of the tier 1 utility masteries, this is the only one that helps during laning/teamfights.

Swiftness - Movement speed is so very underrated but experienced players know that it makes big big difference. Better roaming, dodging, kiting and escape ability - there's so many advantages that you get from Movement speed. So even if you're not using Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed, you should at least get these.

Runic Affinity - Your jungler should give blue buff to you most of the time. It's so useful in laning phase and teamfights that you will want to make use of it as long as possible, that's why I'm picking this.

@IceCreamy: Thanks for your review! I used to have a matchup section but I decided to delete it because I still haven't played against most matchups often enough to give the best advice. There are some who I've laned against often, I could at least mention those. I'll add it with the next update. :)

@MrCuddowls:
Well, I said that I wasn't trying to be mean. I could discuss your points with you and give you my opinion, if you are really interested.
The reason why I didn't do it is because I simply believe that it wouldn't make you change your mind or at least reconsider your preferences. So I'd just be wasting my time.
But if you want to hear it, honestly, then please just tell me and I gladly will. :)
