For Akali i use 25-5-0, cause i like the dmg output that you get from it, and you will get a little magic rec, and armor from the tank mastery.

I put a skill in mark of the assasin every time i can, because it´s the best burst skill she has, and hurts most because i dont build Akali ad. Next i put 1 skill in Shroud in LvL 2 just to make sure i will be able to harass as much as possible. At LvL 4 i put 1 skill in Slash to get a better chance of last hitting. She is a energy hero so dont be afraid to use your abilitys.

In my rune build i go FULL ap, because it gives you a huge advantage in early game!

My item build is the most OP build akali can have in my opinion. I go Hex tech gunblade as my first item before i finish boots. Then i finish my boots of swiftness and after rylais to get slow on my abilitys. Next rabadons death cap to get as much burst dmg as early as i can. Next i build trinity force of lichbane, i see what champions the other team got and build that item after them. as my last item i buy rageblade so i have some chance of not being useless when my abilitys is on Cd.

I play Akali as a burst ap/dmg hero, and because she mostly is a hybrid hero she is OP. I usualy just harass with my Q. As soon as i get lvl 6 and have my Hex tech gunblade i make sure i fire Hex tech gunblade active on them to get high burst and slow on them, after that i can just q and ulti and 1 hit to tricker my Q´s double dmg, following up with E.

In teamfights i usualy engage and trying to get a fast kill, if that dosn´t work, I´ll just put W to invis myself and kite them. When my team comes right behind me i make sure that all my CD´s are down and i can get 1 more huge burst on a new hero or the same.

I take Flash and Ghost. I simply pick those two things because it gives you all the chances you need to get away. I love it!
