When you start out in dominion first get sorcerer's shoes and you will have money left over. Go ahead and tell your team you will take bot turret. You will farm/gank the your lane, especially with your two offensive summoner spells. Once you head back after ganking or have low health try to get 975g for pickaxe because of Akali's passive so you can heal for about 13% of your abilities. After that just keep farming and try to take another turret or help your teammates out. I usually rush the hextech gunblade because it gives you really good survivability and damage as well. If you do not want the magic pen on void staff and your doing well get majai's soulstealer and get it after rabadon's deathcap. If you just follow the build you will do fine as long as you don't overextend or play stupid. Hope you have fun owning with Akali! :D
