I generally find the mastery tree isn't very nice to energy based champions so I like the extra defence just because you do get focused soo much

Haven't played Akali in months though so I'm archiving this build along with my troll build and my out-of-date one. Just don't have the time to keep them updated.

o.O Sorry But I tried this. didn't end pretty. Since I had all that AP and very little AD (I prefer a balanced hybrid build.) when I ran out of energy and my summoner spells were in cool down I got ganked horribly. Tried it 5 times to be fair too. Im not saying your guide is bad it just is not suited to my play style. and im not down voting to troll either.

Yeah well I have never actually used Lich Bane on her Booshido because I never got to try it before I bought Udyr and Olaf so I've been busy :L

And I don't find Guardian Angel to effective on her Sigairi because since she is a melee and usually only dies when she has lost her shroud, it usually just revives her on top of the enemy team

is a core item on ap akali, you didnt mention anything about the Proc which is the only reason it's bought, ap and magic resis is second. once you mark of the assassin then you have the Proc buff glowing, second part of the mark is a normal hit, and your next normal hit will ALSO do 100% AP due to lich bane. this proc is never not gunna be used, litrally triples your dmg output, losing so much potential having this as optional only, I suggest you try build this as 4th item or so and rofl stomp people.

p.s. if this is an AP guide you don't want boots of swiftness, you will need sorc shoes, the move speed from the lich bane should suffice, so much dmg missing Y_Y

I like it. Only 2 things:
If this build is orientated so survivality, you should consider getting Doran's Shield as first item. You won't unlock the AD passive but you'll get health and health regen, I think it's more useful on early game.
Also, should consider using Angel Guardian as optional item, few MR and armor and revive! It's really useful, I use it sometimes.
