I was testing it and actually "Approach Velocity" is a little - maybe not useless but are some more useful runes for Alistar so yeah you can pick another rune but I think that this can be useful when enemy have Ezreal or something like that. I mean that Ezreal can jump, sometimes it's like you are stuned your enemy Ezreal (W+Q) and in the same time he is jumped out of our range so with "Approach Velocity" you can faster catch him and stuned again from "E - Trample". Probably you should know what i mean. Just this rune is situation pick and evrything is depend on your own play style.
I have checked out your other guides before, since i remember your name. And i just stumbled across your guide today, and in my opinion it looks really great. :)
I do really like your Banners, to me they look amazing, very simple yet they look great.
