Im Dreadpool, A High Gold player who mained Support since i started playing (Season 5)
Last Season was full of me playing Alistar and this way i nearly hit Platinum if not for the Famous coin flip from RIOT.

With this guide i hope i can help people get into Alistar more easily as Alistar is mechanically a difficult champion.

If u ever have questions about Alistar or one of his combo's im willing to coach you into getting your Alistar up to a high level.

Passive (Triumphant Roar):Innate:Alistar gains a stack of Triumph for every enemy champion he stuns or displaces with Pulverize, Headbutt or Trample and every time an enemy minion or non-epic monster dies nearby.
At 7 Triumph stacks, Alistar consumes them and roars, healing himself for 25-161 based on level and all nearby allied champions for double the amount.
Alistar roars instantly if a nearby enemy champion or epic monster dies. Once Triumph stacks are consumed Alistar cannot roar again for a short duration, but can still gain stacks.

Q (Pulverize): Alistar slams the ground beneath him, dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies and stunning and knocking them up simultaneously for 1 second.

W (Headbutt): Alistar Dashes to the target enemy's location. If the target it still within a certain radius when the dash ends uninterrupted, he deals them magic damage and knocks them back a fixed distance over 0,75 seconds whilst also stunning them for 1 second.

E (Trample): Alistar becomes ghosted and tramples the ground around him every 0,5 seconds, dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies and gaining a Trample stack every time the ability damages at least one enemy champion.
At 5 Trample stacks, alistar next basic attack within 6 seconds deals 35 - 290 (Based on level) bonus magic damage and applies a 1-second stun on-hit to its target.

R (Unbreakable Will): Alistar cleanses himself of all crowd control. For the next 7 seconds, Alistar reduces incoming damage received.

Alistar had many combo's. I made a small list beneath where u can find them all.

W+Q = Main Combo, For the W - Q combo you want to W towards the enemy and press Q right before you hit them

Q+Flash = Surprise engage, This time cast Q then immediatly Flash onto the target

Q + Flash + W = Surprise Engage Knockback, Start off with Q + Flash, then add the W towards your goal

W + Q + Flash In any direction = The Curbstomp, You W towards a target, then Q + Flash to your enemy you wanted to hit.

To start of you start with Relic Shield.
You take Relic Shield over Steel Shoulderguards because Alistar doesn't rely on auto attacks that much, but more on Abilities.
If you rush Mobility Boots you will receive a lot of roaming potential, and especially with Hextech Flash roaming is definite something u want to do.

Following up with more movement speed with Shurelya's Battlesong to enhance your engage potential and follow up ability of your team as you speed them up as well.

After Shurelya's you need to make sure you are tanky, but also enhance your adc or other teammates using Knight's Vow and Zeke's Convergence. Go Zeke's first if you are winning lane hard, Knight's Vow if you are falling behind.

You can Swap out Zeke's Convergence for Redemption or Shurelya's Battlesong for Locket of Iron Solari.
But with this build you want to focus on getting into your opponents face and cc them so your team can follow up.

Stirring Wardstone isnt on Mobafire yet. Take this when LVL 13. Then in the Fountain you spam 20 wards to get the upgrade into Watchful Wardstone without using any money.

A Slightly Different build path has the same items only in a different order:
Relic Shield > Mobi Boots > Zeke's Convergance > Shurelya's > Knight's Vow > Stirring Wardstone
