My thoughts on this :
-Wouldnt an Archangel's Staff be cool? It gives solid AP and the mana will be useful
-Lich Bane = over-rated, I rather get a Zhonya for the same cost, or even an abyssal scepter. Especially with Kog, where you rather stay far from your ennemies.
Now you're thinking : yo, take a look at guinsoo and nashor's, I want to get closer. Yea, ok, but just bombard em a little more and THEN hit em with this (probably rather sick) bio-arcane barrage.
So I'd delay guinsoo in order to get Tear of the Godess, and up it to archangel later. (and i'd forget Lich's Bane.)
