Ranged match ups
In ranged match ups avoid engaging without W>Q combo being off cool down. typically its best to not start lane fights with W because of the cool down, its almost always better to start fights with a Q>E then W. but against ranged champs, or when youre in stealth engaging with W is optimal.
W usage
In lane W actually has a much wider range of use.
One of the best ways to use W in lane is by Baiting them to go in a certain direction. most people retreat to tower or bush when they get Eve W'd, you can use this to set up ganks or predict movements.

Ult Usage
Eve ult is very useful, it can be used to kill many low health enemies at once, it is also great for retreating or even chasing (only betas run away), a common tactic is to use Eve ult backwards to close a gap.
