Spells:
Teleport
Fortify
Ability Order
Cursed Touch (PASSIVE)
Amumu Passive Ability
Introduction
I'm focusing on a late game Amumu, and theres nothing much to say about my items, just focusing health regen and health itself. You will notice that there's 1 slot missing, well that will depend on the enemy team:
If the enemy is a heavy AD takeThronmail
If the enemy is heavy AP take Banshees Veil.
To take Hexdrinker or Bansees Veil? Well hexdrinker gives 300 shield and veil gives you 375 health.

I put this in 1 cause masteries will depend on your Summoner Spells and they will depend on your team. But lets not heist. We took 0/25/5 as masteries to try and be more tanky. In the utility tree we took what we need, a buff on yourTeleport and health regen witch gives us 1 free point, we just put it for more EXP. Teleport is for me a must-have and the other will depend on your team. If they're squishy useRevive so: teamfight, you die, revive, Teleport and hello again. If they're not that squishy takeForfity. Remember if you take revive take 1 point from Reinforce and put it into Preservation.
Who would you love in your lane?
Katarina:
She usesShupo andDeath Lotus you stun the enemy and she did all that her Death Lotus can do.
Garen
You stun the enemy in GarensJudgment and its damage like hell.
Fiddlesticks
You stun the enemy and Fiddlesticks usesDrain its really too much.
And so on and so on you have so many good friends likeAnivia,Malzahar,Tryndamere,Brand and all others who could use your stun.

PassiveCursed Touch
Your normal attacks reduce your targets magic resist. Nice for attack and then an ability.
QBandage Toss
You throw a bandage as a skillshot, if it touches an enemy unit you will pull yourself to it and deal damage stunning the target. This is why Amumus best friends love amumu. Remember that you can use this over a wall.
WDespair
You start to cry, and you deal damage every second to units around you. It deals the base damage plus a % of enemy targets max health plus 1% of AP. I don't max this last cause I think it sucks, its like my friend said hes mana hungry and I should wait until late game to use this. As you see in the stats at level 18 we have 41 mana per 5 sec. that's little more than 8 mana per sec. and the cost of this ability is 8 mana per sec so late game this is free. Note: if you haven't completed your rune set and don't have 8 mana per sec. don't worry, there's always a solution, after all you do have 2 blue buffs on map.
ETantrum
Passive: You take reduced damage from attacks.
Active: You deal damage to enemies around you. And when you're hit the cooldown is decreased by 0,5 seconds. I max this first cause its just a great spell for your tanky Amumu, and the damage is 175 cause we aren't building AP.
RCurse of the Sad Mummy
Double stun ftw. Like tantrum it does damage but this has a bigger AoE and like your Bandage Toss it stuns. I just love when I fight, my team comes, enemy starts running and I stun him.
So cause we aren't building Amumu as AP but as a tank, your combo will deal for sure around 869 damage, the more you run to your enemy with Despair the more the damage, don't forget your Sunfire Cape.

And that combo is this:
use W before starting the combo. Then Q to him and E right away and keep auto attacking, you can run to him but if you really want him to die after E use R and keep auto attacking, whenever your ability is off cooldown use it again. This is why I take Boots of Swiftness for running to the enemy and get more from my Despair+Sunfire Cape combo.

Your job is to stun who your team is focusing. You must always be ready and tell your team who to focus, if your teammate is about to die and is running with your enemy going after him, R to stop him and punish him for hes greed. Your R is why Amumu shines in teamfights you stun the whole team.
This is it, I made this with the help of Nyteblayd and dude, we did a good job I think. You gave me nice tips, I gave you, and we gave everybody else reading this guide. If you have some ideas or wishes for other builds tell me and I will do my best to make a nice build.
EDIT: 4th August, 2011: Added that you can take blue buff if you don't have a full rune set. Added Veil instead of Hexdrinker.
