failo quint, need update for new items. Also 3 speed boots on ani . . ..

Thanks for the feedback. Updated items but not the description for the build as I don't have time at the moment.

Redid the runes to reflect my own; replaced Zhonya's Ring with Rabadon's Deathcap; took out an Archangel's staff and replaced it with Rylai's Crystal Sceptre (ability power and increased survivability).

Did not replace the boots as most normal games have a bunch of morons in them that don't bother with magic resist. I find the sorcerer's boots ridiculously obsolete when all you have to do is replace an item with a void staff and their magic resist is practically cut in half, anyway. Meanwhile, boots of swiftness allow you to more easily dodge skill shots and avoid ganks, therefore increasing survivability.

Thanks again.

This is a pretty interesting build. It's a lot more focused on damage dealing than my all-around Anivia build and it has a good deal of potential. I'm just a bit concerned about how much of a glass cannon this build makes her.

Now about the build...I think you should get rid of the Awareness mastery and put the points into Meditation/Quickness mastery. If you're not going to max it out then there is really no point to it. An extra 1-4 exp per minion kill isn't going to help you as much as the MP regen and speed bonus would.

I was rather surprised by the "WTF?!!?! I WENT MID-LANE AGAINST MASTER YI AND GOT PWNED!" section. I mean Yi is pretty harmless to Anivia early game. Like most melee based champs he can barely touch you, so just harass with your auto attack and when he gets fed up and finally used Alpha strike, hit him with your FF->FB combo. He'll QQ and you can get 1-2 easy kills off him before lvl6. Even in mid-game he is fairly weak against you as your FF stun and Glacial Storm will do tons of damage to him even when he has Highlander activated and can't be frosted. Only when you get to late game and he has lots of HP and high attack speed should you be afraid of him.

+1 for a pretty good build and guide.

Thanks for the comment. You're quite right about how much of a glass cannon she'll be with this guide. She's rendered pretty vulnerable to attack, which is why it's important to play cautiously late game while using this guide.

You make some good points about Meditation/Quickness. I thought about them and took them into consideration, and decided to take out the Quickness mastery entirely and put the additional point into maxing Awareness. I also considered taking out the Blink of an Eye mastery in favor of maxing Meditation, however, with this build mana regeneration does not become an issue in mid and late game. If you're persistent about getting the golem buff, an additional point in mana every one second is not as beneficial as the additional 5% experience you get from the Awareness mastery. While Blink of an Eye's usefulness is debatable, it can aid your survivability nonetheless. The Awareness mastery will allow you to reach your desired levels faster and with less minion kills, which yields more overall power over your underleveled opponents and more control over the map. Since with this build, boots of swiftness are already being incorporated, the Quickness mastery becomes obsolete.

It's really just about preference in this case, though. So I do appreciate your feedback on the mastery issues!

As to Master Yi, I completely agree with you about how much of a threat he is in early game. I mainly put that section in because people tend to be surprised if they face off against Master Yi and can't use their typical techniques to fight him. As to the Highlander comment - yes, but it will only damage him if he stays inside of it. Otherwise you're pretty much forced to run back to your turret if he engages you, as there's unfortunately not too much you can do to fight against him with your low attack damage and speed while he has Highlander up and Alpha Strike available for use.

Thanks for the feedback and the +1 :) I appreciate it!

nice build very detailed and i would probably take a rod of ages like u said in the optional items subtitle( i did read tht) becuz u do have 2 many archangel staffs but nice build, ill try it out when i can get anivia or when she is on temp

Thank you! :) And it's not really "too many" as the Archangel's Staffs do stack which adds to the % of mana that's converted to Ability Power, but I do understand your point. Thanks for the feedback.
