Introduction
Sion is the only champion who has infinitely hp and damage if you combined that with Atma's Impaler.
This is a very good question. Now i know that many of you would say "OMFMGANDAJNDWH NOOB SION IS SOLO TOP OR JUNGLE YOU NOOOOOOB!!!!" or something like that, however i play Sion always on a double line but more importantly always with a support who can heal cause you will be pretty much harrased.
Now you can go with another ap or ad champion on lane aswell, but you will then have to carefully watch not to kill your teammates creep and that is the down side of the lanning with someone other than support.
The good side of that is you will most likely dominate the lane and we want that :)
You can go Jungle with Sion but i don't like jungling with him cause you won't get the same amount of creeps as you would in a lane...

This skill you will always want to be turned on.Why you might ask?
Well cause you get very good damage at start and on the 3rd skill pick (i guess you can call it that) you get a invisible bf sword (invisible :D ) and you get maximum hp on every minion or hero kill (1/1.5/2/2.5/3)
But the problem with Enrage is that when you hit someone you lose hp per hit (6/8/10/12/14).
Now this can be fixed if you just get 1and you won't be losing hp,but you will heal more than you would lose hp and we want that now don't we? :)

1.First Item
a)This item is a must for Sion,"why" i already explained so i don't need to explain twice now :)
b)
This is a nice starting item cause you can get a lot from this (100 hp,10 dmg,3% lifesteal) but it won't stop you from losing hp from your Enraged spell.
Me: I will always start with Vampiric Scepter cause i find it more useful than Dorans Blade
2.BOOTS!
(This depends on the composition of the enemy team.)
a)
If the enemy team is more mage type or they have a lot of cc you would want to get Mercury's Treads
b)
If you feel like Sion's attacks are slow you might want to grab these boots :)
3.Phantom Dancer
This is a must on Sion cause you will get a lot of benefits from it.You will be faster and will pop out crits like it's a dream and if you want (optional) and feel safe get another one.
4.Atma's Impaler
This item is also a must on Sion, why you ask?
Well it is simple really, combined with your Enrage skill that gets you HP your damage will always rise and in the end (if you farmed wright :D) you will have the highest damage.
5.Infinity Edge
Infinity Edge on Sion is just frightening. If you get this item on Sion, with the attack speed of Phantom Dancer and a high crit chance and combined with your ulti, you will SURELY deal a ton of damage to an opponent and heal like crazy. :D
6.The Bloodthirsther
Now this is just a cherry to the cake.
I feel like a ******* vampire when i get this item.
This item on Sion will greatly increase his damage output and lifesteal percentage, but the downside of this item is that when you die you will lose all the stats that you gathered from it,so make sure you don't die(that won't be hard now will it?). :)
-Optional stuff-
I sometimes don't get Atma's impaler and get another Phantom Dancer for reasons explained already and i sell my Wriggles Lantern just to get another Bloodthirster and that is only if I !!!!FEEL SAFE!!!! to do that.

So for runes i go like this
Red: Greater Mark of Strength = + 0.95 attack damage
Yellow: Greater Seal of Resilience = + 1.41 armor
Blue: Greater Glyph of Strength = + 0.28 attack damage
Purple: Greater Quintessences of Alacrity = + 3.4 attack speed
Why these runes?
Well for start you will get high damage output (98 damage) and if you get a dorans blade (108 damage) and that is only for start,it's like you get a bf sword instead of a dorans blade :D
-Optional Runes-
Instead of Greater Mark of Strength you can go for Greater Mark of Desolation = + 1.66 % armor penetration
And instead of Greater Glyph of Strength you can go for Greater Glyph or Warding = + 1.49 magic resistance

-Going with a support-
Going with someone who gets a support character is very good and will prove a lot better for farming in lane cause he won't be attacking creeps and will let you raise your CS = HP.
But the downside of this is that you will be the only one who will deal damage to the enemy if you get into a 2v2 fight on a lane.
-Going with a champ that isn't support-
This is a bit harder and will take a lot more teamwork than the support one cause you will need to share the creeps in lane so that both of you could get enough money. That is the downside of this "sharing creeps" you won't get that much CS = HP.
But the good side is if a 2v2 fight on the lane emerges then you both will have damage and you will have the highest damage of them 3 and will pick up a kill or 2 or just ravage their lane.
-Farming in lanes-
Higher CS = higher HP.Get as much creeps you can by last hitting or just normally attacking creeps, but i prefer last hitting.
Like i said,if you go with a support you will get the creeps for your self, but if you go with a other type hero you will need to carefully watch which creep will be your and which will be his so that both of you will get as much creeps as possible and yet not to fall back other players.
