What an awesome guide! Very thorough and easy-to-read. I can't wait to get home and try Blitz out for me first time, using this. I will report back later with results.
One question though... under Summoner Spells, you made no mention of Clarity. Wouldn't clarity be excellent for maintaining mana early game so you can keep spamming spells? I'm considering going Clarity + Exhaust and would like to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for the feedback :)
Regarding the Clarity question:
While it trully is useful in early game, it's usefulness drops a lot after you get the tear and start building up mana. Using this build, the mana pool tends to go high and the mana regen will keep your current mana high (unless you're doing some really extreme skill combos).
Due to the huge drop it suffers in mid/late game, I didn't feel it was something "advisable". Personally I rather have something that may save my life (Flash) and that works thro the whole game instead of something for an early game boost. Regarding Exhaust, even tho it shines a lot in early game, it'll still guarantee your team kills in late game if used properly :)
As usual, i'm open to suggestions/discussion on how to improve the guide. Feel free to argue and leave any other questions and comments :)

oooo apparently I already +1ed this
:D
very nice, interesting build, well written guide ^^
just a note, I know you say in the guide to get mercs earlier if you need to, but generally more times than not you will be getting them earlier on, so I think you should make them earlier in the build up top.
Thanks for the feedback wrath :D
Regarding the merc i had the comment cause i noticed that in some games (even tho it's not that common) i've managed to hold up using only the basic boots. The money is well invested in other items if the boots aren't required ASAP.
I'll look into into and probably rephrase it into something like: buy merc threads (except in some ocasions in which there isn't much CC and you feel that you can hold up with basic boots)

Great built, recently bought blitz he is awesome went 17-4-19 last game and on a +8 win streak
Thanks for the feedback :) i'm glad that the build is working for you. Feel free to suggest improvement and/or changes to the guide ;)
Constructive Criticism:
1) A small thing, but Glyphs of Celerity are better late game, whereas Glyphs of Focus are better early game (will give you more grabbing power). Focus: 5%, Celerity: 8%. It's only a difference of 3%, and you don't achieve the full 8% until level 18.
They are pretty much evened out at lvl 12 and they start giving benefits after level 13. During early game

4) Mastery Tree set up is fine, just wondering why you put a point in buffs when they should be going to the natural casters/dps on the team.
The utility tree doesn't really have anything that would benefit Blitzcrank that much. Increasing mana pool is pointless since it only effects the base mana which is low. Adding more points to increase the hp/mana regen by 1% is not significative.
Even tho you shouldn't be going for the buffs, you'll most likely end up getting some at a point of the game (after a kill, stealing enemy jungle buffs, etc). So if you do get the buff, it'll last longer and be a good way to sustain your shield.
5) Throughout your guide you should be using more of the wikicoding. ie:
On the first version of the guide I had used icon tags. Afterwards i've updated to use the flat brackets tags but it seems i've missed a few of them.
6) "Ghost. Seriously? You've got Overdrive and you got speed boots. Why would you need to run even faster?" Merc's are not speedy boots ^^
Fixed. Changed text to:

7) In your "Skill Sequence" section, you need some colour and distinction between LoL's description of the ability, and your own explanation. This can be achieved in many ways, and I'm sure you'll find a set-up that will suit you.
Was using only list tags on the official description of skills. Added up green color to my comments.
8) I just quickly scrolled through your guide and noticed you didn't add any large wikicoding anywhere.

You can play around with the sizes to see what you like best. Generally I go 30 for icons of small explanations (
Currently doing a revamp to the Runes/Masteries/Summoner Spells. Splitting them to individual sections and using Searz's template :)

this build ist good because you need only lvl 1 grab.
items are so good i played and i had 6/2/16 gj man xD
Thanks for the feedback, i'll consider your feedback regarding lvl 1 grab (it basically gets increased since it'll pump up your damage, since you're playing with AP).

I can't vote, really, I can't, at any guide :P
Dunno, somethin has screwed for me.
