Thanks for not taking it as a personal attack. The entire point of having multiple builds on the same site is to give a different perspective; there'd be no point in having four or five people tell you to do the exact same thing.

Your content is largely accurate. What you said in the rune notes is also something I'd suggest, as MS goes a long way on Maokai. Runes are a matter of preference, though, and it's a good thing that you included multiple suggestions.

One thing I will say about your items is that (and I know that you mentioned you don't like it, but) now that saplings slow, you really don't get a lot out of Rylai's Crystal Scepter (only the first hit of saplings and your ult would gain anything), especially with the stat changes it got fairly recently. RoA provides more HP, almost as much AP, and a bunch of mana that's absent from Rylai's.

Actually, I mentioned this in the video I originally did for the build, but I'll roughly paraphrase what I said back there: "Thought about it; didn't work for me." Anyways, thanks, but I already knew about that build path.

Pretty good guide so far, but I'd definitely invite you to consider Rod of Ages. I'd go so far as to say that that's core on Maokai.
