If the enemy is ranged, don't get poked, if you do hit them with Q a couple of times, since the heal is very overpowered.

Roaming When you either kill or make your enemy recall, immediately push the lane, with Rakan you never want to freeze the wave. When the wave is under tower, don't even try to get platings, always roam. Most of the time the jungler isn't going for scuttle at this time so check if any enemy is over extended, if for example enemy bot is over pushed, you can always kill them, even if your bot is very low.
