this guide is really nice as it explains every item, mastery and goes into detail about abilities. However, it does need to be updated due to the removal of DFG, which is a core item in this build.

Could you update this guide? I am a shaco main I play ap and ad shaco but not confident with him support please update :D

Very nice guide, well written and all. I tend to say that AP Support Shaco does not work in Ranked games, and I believe that is mainly because people don't know how to play with a Support like him and don't know what to expect, but mostly because some enemy team comps might really ruin the game (for example, assassins that go in for the ADC and you don't have peeling capability - might be resolved by taking exhaust).

This is why I play him frequently but only in Normal games and have never even tried him in Ranked. Nevertheless, I gotta say that your guide made me believe it is possible to make Shaco viable as a Support class. Not for profesional play level perhaps, but who knows.

Now I have a question for you: would you ever consider buying wards or Sightstone? I know that boxes provide nice warning and even some CC that wards don't have, but wards last more and have no cooldown. Besides, some fellow teammates seem to lose map awareness with boxes instead of wards. I know Support Shaco is meant to deal damage more than anything, but sometimes even then people expects a little bit more than that. So would you waste a slot in wards if game gets long or teammates request it?
