Introduction

Build under construction

This is the first build I have ever made, so please make some response if you think something is missing or discuss improvements.

Okay, first of all, this is a very complex build, I will run through all the basic jungling rutes and how to jungle from lvl 1-4. But I will not teach you how to play Irelia in team fights above lvl 6.

Runes and Masteries

Greater Quintessence of Fortitude - For flat health, great for early ganking and a tanky edge for lategame.

Greater Glyph of Focus - Flat CDR for early game gank aswell as faster jungling and spamming abilities at endgame.

Greater Mark of Alacrity - Flat ASP for early game jungling, ganking and also stacks good with the items i'm building (Bloodthrister, Infinity Edge etc).

Greater Seal of Vitality - Pr lvl health which gives the tanky edge at lategame, which is very helpful since you will be focused in teamfights.

Mastery
I run with mastery build for the tank/nuke Irelia i'm playing, with greater survivability and reduced magic resist, because of her ultimate and E ability.

Items

I start off with dagger, so I've increased attack speed for jungling, aswell as for using Hiten Style for ganking. Then I grab Berserkers Greaves for faster jungling and great chase possibilites in top and buttom lane. Afterwards I build trinity force, starting with zeal, this item gives run speed an attack speed, which works great with this build. When i'm done with Trinity Force, I start with buying Vamparic Scepter if i'm underfed, else I go straight for infinity Edge and afterwards bloodthirster. For lategame I go for Banshee's Veil so I wont get CCed for too long in long-range fights and finally Madreds for bursting down tanks into their grave.

Alternatives.
I grab Stark's Fevor if i'm greatly underfed instead of Bloodthirster, this way I can get a more support edge, than this bursting build.

Summoner Spells

Flash.
I love flash, this is my favorite spell on Irelia, no doubt. If they try to gank you, your passive will make you get out of their grab in no time, afterwards you can Flash through a wall and escape their gank easily.
Also for chasing is Flash lovely, you can simply just flash up, use E ability which slows them and gank them in no time by using Hiten Style (W) and Q ability if further chasing is needed.

Smite.
This ability is for jungling, lategame this is useless.

Alternative.

Ghost.
Some like ghost for irelia, and ask me why I don't use it - I simple answer that with Trinity Force I do not need additional run speed, if I need to gank or escape, I like flash a lot better.

Pros / Cons

Pros
Great jungler after getting Berserkers Greavers
Raping tanks
Great at ganking lanes.
Awesome chaser and slower in teamfights.
Good at taking down last amount of health with "R" ability.
Good 1v1, with Hiten Style and stun.

Cons
Squishy if caught in a stun.
Not a great early game jungler, but can easly keep up with buttom lane.
Can't carry by herself, but with a good top/buttom lane, she kills everything.

Creeping / Jungling

Now to the most important part of Jungling Irelia.. Jungling!

I've soon searched for a great jungling hero, and what is important when you choose a good jungling hero, what is needed:

Fast jungling, and keeping up xp-wise with the buttom lane.

Being able to support both top and buttom lane with ganking. When this is said, it's needed to either slow, fear or stun the lanes in order to chase this opponent down.

Getting both blue and red buff when it's needed.

Farming the jungle late-game is still no problem and not reliant on the blue and red buff lategame.

Now.. Irelia Jungling!

Start off at Wraith Camp, then to the wolf camp, then twin Golems, wraiths and remember to focus the blue wraith with all abilities. Then afterwards go to the wolf camp and teleport back to buy Berserkers Greavers and 1 health potion.
Now go for Twin Golems again, and if possible, gank a lane when reaching level 4.
When you are lvl 4 or 5, then go for the blue buff, this will allow you to stay in the jungle for a long time. Then get the red buff, and now starts the fun. GANKING!!..

Level 6. Start off by using "Q" ability, using "E" and "W" straight afterwards, then using "R" at the same time, spamming down the enemies health in a matter of seconds.
