very tanky build. I find ninja tabi is a good choice on shen simply because of his taunt and early FoN i think is great for chases and the rest. I dont understand why you build thornmail before sunfire. If you have chain vest and giants belt you might as well complete it. anyways very detailed guide i like a lot and ur other guide is pretty sick as well

pretty solid build. i might try it after playing your kennen guide but you get plenty of magic resistance and armor as well as a decent amount of health. i always wonder why most shens dont get warmogs because ki strike becomes much stronger.

This is a mad build. i luv frozen mallet the most simply because it gives an awesome hp boost and slows the target on hit. Also helps heaps with shens passive. +1

I actually focus vorpal blade mainly for the good harass it can do in addition to the farming when the opponent has to recall from harass. All in all though the only differences we have come down to Personal preference again so +1 for a good guide :)

This build looks pretty good (without testing it I can't be sure, but this is just some stuff I'm noting from looking over it).
Personally I max Vorpal Blade asap with Shen but I suppose that's personal preference (the added points on Shadow Dash make for good early taunt kills)
The one thing I particularly don't like is the amount of health potions. In all my playing with Shen I've only ever boughten 1 potion for him from the get-go and that almost always lasts me to getting Merc Treads (my first item). Using the upgraded Vorpal Blade + Ki Strike on minions is a good way to heal yourself while laning, so that many potions just seems unnecessary to me. Other than that the build seems solid and I might try it out next time I play shen :)

Well as you said it really does come down to personal preference. I like to play shen very aggressively seeing he is a great champ and can resist a lot of damage even during early game. I sometimes do max out vorpal blade first and that usually means i don't need many health pots, but i like my current style of play. On average, I usually get a kill by level 4, however i still lose quite a bit of health so i need a lot of pots. However the way you seem to play suggests you focus on farming rather than harassing enemies which is actually quite effective and i do that sometimes as well.
TY for the comment
