Introduction

Bard. A champion lots of people just think of as a trolling support that isn't very good at anything, and, let me tell you, whilst his ulti can be used to troll, Bard is capable of so much more, with fantastic stuns, with perfect timing and accuracy, his ult can make absolutely absurd plays, and with the right build, people will fear the beard lategame, I made this guide just out of something I enjoy playing and legit think is pretty viable, in a vague hopes someone will try it out and see just how good Bard can be.

Spells

Can swap out flash for ghost if you're feeling confident, or barrier to soak up some extra damage, with your stun, ult, and portal, flash isn't a neccessity, though it is the most practical.

Jungling

Get a strong leash at blue or Gromp, if you start Gromp you'll be able to clear wolves at enough hp to lvl2 gank top or mid, then tax a bit to get you closer to that covetted level 3. Blue lets you not have to back for ages cause of infinite health packs, but it makes early ganks nigh impossible because you'll be *just* sustaining yourself in jungle, and pre-RoA you're in danger of simply being all-inned and dieing.

Pros / Cons

Pros:

-You can't ward against Bard jungle, simply portal through terrain where he can't see you coming, you can gank from ANYWHERE.
-Offers alot to the team lategame, with reliable, low-cooldown, 2-person stuns, engage with his ult, heals, mobility to his entire team.
-Early dragons cause of health packs, with the right runes and lots of pots, can pull off a lvl2 dragon if you set up your health packs just right.
-Can't be caught out, ever, if the team goes for you, simply portal through a wall and stun them or ult right at the end of the portal, since you travel through it faster than them.
-With perfect timing, you can dodge Zed's ulti, not the pop, but the mark being applied in the first place, if you go through your portal right as he's about to reappear, the mark isn't applied, eating a zed ulti for your team could change a fight, if you stick close to the ADC with elixir of iron, it'll be hard for him not to click on you instead, especially in lower ELOs where Zed's aren't quite as.. tactical.

Cons

-Can only snowball lanes, cannot save losing ones very effectively, especially if they're losing hard, he offers his ulti for inescapable ganks and easy tower dives via freezing the tower, and stuns, + heals for the laner he's ganking, but if the person two shots both of you pre-tank items, you'll get too far behind to ever actually get tanky.
-Weak clearspeed, extremely vulnerable to counterjungling, as stated, twitch destroys him (thouch twitch jungle isn't hugely common).
-Low earlygame/pre-6 relevence, before any levels into it and before cooldown boots, your stun isn't as big as the things some other junglers offer.

Unique Skills

Portals can make good baits, as stated early, you can't catch bard out, ever. Extreme lategame dueling potential with Liandry's and flashy portal tricks.
The juke master, put down a portal, go through, flash back over the wall before they see where you went, and other such tricks.
His Q is like if you compressed the frusturation of Leona's entire kit into one projectile.

Ranked Play

Not reccommended for SoloQ at low ELOs, as having a bard jungle requires too much coordination/communications that most teams just don't have,5v5s or duoq with someone you wanto camp to get them fed can work pretty well honestly.
