Champion Build Guide
3 years in the making, Cheat Code Belveth Mid
This is exactly what it looks like. Imagine Yasuo mid but with much stronger push power, and no crit.
Goals: Farm 10 cs/m
W chickens over the wall when jungle is taking them. Get a takedown not a kill.
Help with scuttles.
Invade enemy jg on chickens. Ward it when roaming on scuttle.
The above 3 tips get you stacks.
Always roam into enemy jg and river if your jg is doing so. Get the most kills/assissts possible.
NOTE at level 6, give yourself an advantage by NOT upgrading ult. At level 7 voidlings spawn, thats when ult is needed.
By the time baron spawns you should be 2-3 items in. A 3-5 man job (depending on dragons and strength)reset and then a 2-3 split push with Top/botlane is a nearly gauranteed win.
If your jungler is intelligent, you will win in 25 min even if you lose lane.
DO NOT ROAM TOP OR BOT LANE, COUNTER JUNGLE INSTEAD. Passive beefitts from cannons, kills and assissts. Note, you need Takedowns not last hits. However VOID corals are the most overlooked/overpowered part of Belveths kit.
spark notes above... Lore Below.
For more context, in the past I have done full crit bel mid, with the old shield bow. I did it wit new shield bow. I didn’t after shield bow. I did it with (rage) blade as a primary item. Same with BORK, Shojin and Profane hydra. None of these worked in the past.
Lore….
I play ranked and only ranked. I care about Fun first and Winning second, because I don’t view league as something that defines me. However I had to do this to prove a point to someone, as far back as 2023.
I believe that I pioneered Belveth top and mid in 2023. I didn’t consume league content outside of the actual game from 2017-2025. I’ve been bronze/silver every year I’ve played since 2013. I’ve peaked at gold 1 in 2019, but I have also taken years long breaks at least two times, and months long breaks several times. On the other hand, sometimes I play almost 20hrs a week. I enjoy the game, but some segments of the community has been very hard for me to stomach in game. I usually play ranked because at this elo, normal games are hell, almost all end in a 15 min ff.
Anyway, I had friends who were high elo (emerald/ diamond) who bashed me for playing Belveth anywhere but jungle.
I had tried top lane as a fighter/tank/bruiser, but most jungles would throw tantrums, or my build wasn’t fast enough to get to the epic camps. I attribute this to my lack of study outside of gameplay, and the fact that in reality nobody has done what I’m describing. You’ll find a few videos with under 10k views on YouTube. I also struggled to find a strong build that was both tanky and able to sustain HP with lifesteal. That wasn’t easy.
So I took my ideas to midlane. I figured more speed would benefit me as I could proc my passive from two scuttle crabs, two epic camps and two chicken camps. For the the chickens just walk up to the wall near mid lane while your jungle is doing chickens at W over the wall to hit the biggest one something inexperienced belt players overlook is that her passive benefits from TAKEDOWNS of cannon minions, champion kills and large monsters. However, Belveth passive is not the most important piece of her kit. The most important piece of her kit is her empowered ultimate this being neglected is why Belth is a difficult champion and why most people do not find success with her or play her very often many people view Belveth as a one dimensional champion, however a lot of that comes from not spending time theory crafting.
As of today, I’m mastery level 66 on Belveth and the only two people that I’ve really presented this idea to were unable to wrap their heads around it. I recently learned, but neither one of them played Belveth and have little to no knowledge only arrogance and ranked to rely on and telling me that I’m wrong. I have seen what the Korean challengers were playing in 23 and 24 with all mid and while that may have worked for them, it never worked for me by their place style of constantly fighting. At one point I had a 55% win rate on Belveth mid and I learned that one of the incredible parts of this pico is that people will not predict it, and they will often be unable to have a build or runes that counter well.
I have ideas for Talon Jg skill leveling changes. I have ideas for HOB sett in jungle. I have ideas for electrocute resolve Sylas top or mid lane. I have ideas for Sylas jungle, especially as a duelist with Dusk and Dawn or burst. Drain tank Sylas. Mid Sylas first strike or duelist.
For the record, since I only started watching league content (besides worlds) in 2025, I started to realize how much I lacked in macro knowledge, and how my unwillingness to play with toxic teams / my desire to split push was often a hindrance to me progressing in the ranks.
Additionally, ive never focused on playing one role, I just didn’t want to play support. Many of my early years from 2013-2017 were spent as an ADC main, 2017-2021 focused more on solo lanes, 2021-2024 more focus on top lane, 2025- now mid and jungle have been my priorities.
