Laning Phase
Your main goal during the laning phase is to farm as perfectly as possible while keeping the wave close to your turret.

Try to freeze the wave whenever possible. Keep the enemy minions just outside your turret range so the enemy laner has to walk forward if they want to farm. This gives you a safer lane, makes you harder to gank, and creates opportunities to punish the enemy when they step up.

Focus on last hitting only rather than pushing the wave unnecessarily. Avoid using abilities on the minion wave unless you need to prevent the freeze from breaking.

Use Q (Transfusion) frequently on the enemy champion for poke and sustain. In favorable matchups, you can be much more aggressive with your Q usage. Look for opportunities to Q the enemy whenever they walk up to farm, especially when you can consistently trade without putting yourself in danger. Your Q sustain allows you to win these small trades over time.

If you see that the enemy is low, look for opportunities to secure the kill and build an early lead. If you have a safe and reliable kill, don't hesitate to use Flash or Ghost to secure it. An early lead on Vladimir can turn into a snowball, giving you more control over the lane and allowing you to become stronger much faster.

Keep using Q to chunk the enemy down, but if you recognize that you can kill them, commit to the play instead of being unnecessarily greedy with your summoners.
Mid Game
During the mid game, don't be afraid to play around your jungler and teammates. If you used your Q efficiently during the laning phase, you should have been able to consistently poke down your enemy laner while sustaining yourself back up. This can put you in a much healthier position going into mid-game fights.

Because of this, you can often be more willing to take fights around your lane, especially when your enemy laner has already been chipped down and you are healthy. Your sustain allows you to stay in fights longer, while your burst can punish enemies who are already low.

Don't be afraid to help your jungler when they make a play. You can often burst them together with your jungler and turn a small skirmish into a big advantage. Getting a kill or winning a skirmish can give you a huge opportunity to snowball even harder.

Playing with your teammates can be very rewarding, so look for good opportunities to join them. However, avoid unnecessary fights. Vladimir is still a scaling champion, so you don't want to throw away your lead by fighting when there is nothing meaningful to gain.

Your goal is to keep farming and scaling while taking favorable fights with your teammates.
Late Game
You are extremely strong at this stage of the game, so don't be afraid to play aggressively when you see the right opportunity. Your main goal is to look for good ult opportunities, especially ones where you can hit multiple enemies and catch the enemy carries together.

Try to position your R so that you can hit as many important targets as possible, then follow up with as much burst damage as you can. If you see a strong opportunity to reach the enemy carries, don't be afraid to Flash in and burst them. If your teammates are close enough, they can follow up on your engage and help finish the enemies you catch.

After you've used your main damage, remember that you still have Pool. Pool is extremely valuable after you've committed because it buys time for your cooldowns and teammates to finish the fight.

Your goal is to get as much damage as possible onto the enemy carries while creating an opening for your team. Look for strong R placements, commit when you see a good opportunity, and use W to survive after you've dealt your damage.
Combo
Short Trade

Q → E → W

Dont be scared to q him again if its safe

Flash E Combo

Hold E → Flash → E → Q

Charge E before Flashing into range, then release E immediately after Flashing and follow up with Q. This is a strong way to surprise an enemy who is already low enough to die.

Full Burst Combo

E → Flash → R → E → Q

Incase you need the extra damage

Empowered Q Setup

When your empowered Q is ready, try to plan your trades around it. You can use the movement speed from empowered Q to close the distance or reposition before committing to your combo.

The most important thing with Vladimir is knowing when to use W. Don't waste it just for extra damage if you might need it to dodge an important ability or survive after going into the enemy team.
