Introduction
So feel free to give feedback. Don't hate on me please.
Okay so for runes I think the Marks speak for themselves.
I got the mana regen. per 5 seals over the regen. per 5 per lvl out of pure preference. I feel like the per 5 per lvl ones don't offer much early and Brand is great at last hitting and harassing at the same time which costs mana. For me, the seals go great with a [*] Doran's Ring
You might question my choice in MR per lvl glyphs. But since the meta is an AP carry mid I find it helps against pokes. And The 2 AP per lvl glyphs also preference for me because of the AP per lvl Quint.
Again the Magic Pen quints speak for themselves.

And now onto the items.
The build won't always be the same. You should always build according to the enemy team. There are always core items but remember to always pay attention to enemy team comp and what they are building.
So for me, core items on Brand would be:
[*] Archangel's Staff
[*] Rabadon's Deathcap
[*] Banshee's Veil
Some times I don't always get Banshee's. I find if I need survivability right away I get a quicksilver sash. Which is also good.
The mana from Banshee's feeds AA Staff a bit but not much.
I usually don't get to finish my build. The one time I had a full build it was all the items listed above.
I think the items are all pretty self explanatory.

So I start off with Conflagration. It's reliable damage but you don't want to harass too much until you hit 3. This is just preference. Like I said you don't want to harass too much early on so if you'd like to get another spell first go ahead.
I max Pillar first because when it hits, it hits hard. It's amazing in team fights and your main source of damage. In lane it will scare the other away. But remember to start with Conflagration first then Pillar when you're harassing in lane. I'm sure you know because of the bonus damage once they're ablaze.
Get your ult when you can as well. Second max conflagration, then Sear.
1v1 people will be scared of you but please if you're fed, do not stand in front of someone thinking "I got this" You'll probably die. Remember to kite.
Also, don't blow your ult at the beginning of a team fight. Try to get as many of them ablaze as you can first.
