Introduction

Hey Guys,
this is my first Guide on MOBAFIRE. As soon as Brand was released I decided to buy him.
In this guide I will show you my way of playing him.
At the end you will have tons of ability power and a really good survivability.

I hope you test it out before rating it.
Have fun an playing Brand.

Blaze (Passive): Brand's spells light his targets ablaze, dealing 2% of their maximum Health in magic damage per second for 4 seconds.
Sear: Brand launches a ball of fire forward that deals magic damage. If the target is ablaze, the target will be stunned for 2 seconds.
Pillar of Flame: After a short delay, Brand creates a pillar of flame at a target area, dealing magic damage to enemy units with the area. Units that are ablaze take an additional 25% damage.
Conflagration: Brand conjures a powerful blast at his target, dealing magic damage to them. If the target is ablaze, the conflagration spreads to nearby enemies.
Pyroclasm (Ultimate): Brand unleashes a devastating torrent of fire, dealing damage each time it bounces. If a target is ablaze, Pyroclasm's missile speed increases.

Runes

For runes I choose:
9x Greater Mark of Insight
9x Greater Seal of Clarity
9x Greater Glyph of Force
3x Greater Quintessence of Potency

This will give you
15 Ability Power from the start.
8,5 Magic Penetration, which is really great!
28 Ability Power at level 18.
11 Mana/5s at level 18.

Masteries

For Masteries I use:
9|0|21
These are standard Caster Masteries.
(Archaic Knowledge is really imoportant!)

Items

Core Items:

Start with

and a.
At the first trip back you buyand.
Then you buy my favourite item, which is reallay awesome.
Don't pass this!
Always remember to ward Dragon/Baron/Blue/Red to have sight of those. Trust me, this will give you an advantage!
Then finish your Boots to the Boots of your choice (look down).
Save money forand.
For Lategame buyor.
I prefere Abyssal Scepter, because of the extra Magic Resistance.
Now you have the choice between:,,.

Boots:

Sorcerer's Boots for Magic Penetration (I recomment these).
Boots of Lucidty for fabulous Cooldown Reduction.
Boots of Swiftness just if you love to be fast.

Summoner Spells

For Summoner Spells I go with:
Teleport
and
Flash.

You could also useIgnite. Why? Just because he is burning. (But be carefull I just noticed that I often forget to USE Ignite in lategame, because your cooldowns are not that great.)

Pros / Cons

Pros

-Passive Ability does a little ignite each time.
-You will dominate early game.
-Spellvamp makes so much fun on him!
-Your autoattack is quite huge and your range is awesome, this will make lasthitting very easy.
-Your a greate nuker with your 3-Skill-Combo.
-You have a stunning ability.
-Your ulti bounces between minions too, but it prefers champions!

Cons

-Low AP-Scaling.
-Costs 6300 IP ang 975 RP, so he is quite expensive.
-He is squishy.
-His ulti flys very slowly.... VERY SLOWLY and doesn't do much damage.
-2 Skillshots make him hard to master.

Summary

Brand is fun to play, but he is hard to master. If you feel confident about playing Casters you will soon achive tons of kills.
