Hi, I'm JayTuck, I have been playing the Brand champion in almost every lane and have came to see that Brand is what we could call a glass Cannon. I have noticed that when Brand is in free rotation a lot of people try and play him. Brand can be a huge team asset and can change a loosing team fight in to one that has the enemy team retreating.

So when it comes to runes I hear many different things as far as which ones are more beneficial as a Brand champ. So what I have laid out here is an example of the set up that I like to use and I know that for the most part people stay away from the spell vamp with Brand....But why??? Brand has extremely high Spell damage and his ability to have low CD and high spell damage, with this you are able to sustain in lane much longer and still put out massive amounts of damage. Besides if you are able to get a few more points of health back and stun an enemy champ you now have done more damage than if you did not get the health back and you had died and possible saved yourself from feeding or falling behind in lane phase. The other runes that I suggest would be scaling health, Magic Pen, and scaling cool down reduction.

Masteries are very key with this build though you will see that I have taken Vampirism instead of Natural Talent this too is for sustainability. This game is not all about killing the other team. While yes this will help you get a lead and be able to snowball the other team but before you ever get to that part you have to make sure that you are not the reason that your team is getting snowballed on. Staying alive longer will result in more damage than a quick burst and then death...

With this guide and working with your team you will see that you stay alive much longer and you are able to just blow the damage charts off of the grid. Remember if you stay calm do not flame your team and just enjoy the game play you will have more wins and a better experience while playing League.
