-Attack damage + Armor penetration for great damage from and

-Mana regen, extra exp and Cooldown reduction for lane domination

-And great movement speed with Phantom Dancer, Shurelya's Reverie and Ghost for chasing and pulling

= Useful carrying instead of AS + Crit madness...

Armor penetration runes increase the Attack Damage ratio for Caitlyn's ultimate

Mana regeneration and cooldown reduction runes makes you able to use your farming ability to harass your enemies and your revealing trap ability to place around the lane for preventing incoming ganks.

21 in offense like many other carries, and 9 for utility to gain +5 percent experience points bonus.

As a ranged carry, you will make your enemies to stay in lane with half/low HP. With that extra exp, when you reach level 6 before them, you will go on them looking for a kill.

For it's great help in bush for first blood, I prefer getting W first. Next will be Q and E

Because of that you don't have great disables (W becomes active later and E isn't lock in) Exhaust will be a great choice whole game including First Blood.

Ghost is really necessary because you you are the one being focused in teamfights. With Ghost, you can escape ganks, chase enemies or pull them.

So, with runes and masteries you will have mana regeneration, some experience points bonus and cooldown reduction which will allow you to dominate your lane.

With high attack damage and armor penetration, your Q will deal great damage and your ulti R will even hurt tanks hard.

Different than other builds, we won't focus on critical strike chance or attack speed. You will deal great damage, but will do it while moving fast and chasing instead of just standing and firing.
