Her silence can be annoying when you're charging up Q, so try to bait it or throw your hook before she's able to get animation off to still get the pull.

Lulu

If lulu gets ahead of you and the enemy laners are passive in lane, she can be a bit of a nightmare to engage into. I would try to smash her early to get the lead, and if you can't, go roam.

Zilean

His ult counters yours. Try to get a big lead pre-6.

Renata Glasc

Her W counters your ult. It has a massive cooldown so try to bait it out before you commit to an all in.

Yuumi

Tiny

People think yuumi is a counter to Pyke... she's not. A lot of yuumi players will greed for auto attacks to replenish their mana. Look for this window to either E or Hook her. Not many players know this, but if Yuumi's been CC'd, she has to wait a few seconds before she can just back on friendly champ. Another fun thing to do is throw a hook between her and friendly champ if she detaches... you can sometimes catch her midflight.

Xayah

Major

She can dish out a LOT of dmg really quick plus stun lock you. If she has Krakken, you will probably not want to get in this champs face. Beware as her ult can be used to outplay yours. Anticipate that a good Xayah will be looking to use her ult when you do. So try to bait it out, or only ult her if she's stunned, not expecting it, or ult's down. Try to keep track of this champs SS and Ult timers before you go for a hard engage.

Sivir

Even

Sivr's spell shield is a great reason why you should get CD boots. Her cooldown on that skill is longer than your hook. If you've just baited it out or she's used it recently, look to set up a hook play.

Leona

Minor

When Leona targets you with her E, you can use your E and it will drag her to wherever you end up. Try to bait her to use E on you when you're close to your tower and you'll pull her into it. Keep moving towards the tower as sometimes you'll get your stun off, and try to make sure your Q isnt on cooldown when you do this move so that it's up to pull her back into tower when she tries to get away.

Pantheon

Minor

Panth players are pretty predictable. You can actually cancel their W stun with your Q... and 9 times out of 10, if you get up close to a panth while you're winding a Q, they almost always go for the W. It takes some practice, but you can time it where you just throw them over your head without them landing anything on you. Follow up with an E through them and its a good trade. One thing to be careful of: his E shield can block your Ult, but not if you ult behind him (hitting his backside). Practice that or just simply wait until his E animation is done before ulting.

Caitlyn

Ideal

Love the poke. Love the safety range (which means you can leave her alone to farm safely while you roam) Traps are great synergy. If you have a decent cait player, she'll trap enemies that you Q+E stun. This is insta kill.

Draven

Ideal

Draven is busted. His passive means he can play like poop, but so long as he gets kills, he gets ahead. Gold on Draven > all other champs. So play aggressive with this match up and look to set him up with kills.

Ashe

Ideal

Her slow is awesome for setting up plays + her ult is usually insta kill on enemy.

Kai'Sa

Ideal

Great burse champ. Her kit just compliments playing with pyke so well.

Kalista

Low

Her ult is nice to set up plays and get you out of tough situations, but overall she's pretty vulnerable b/c she has to get so close to do damage and stack her w. Plus, most players have no idea how to play this champ properly.

Ezreal

Ideal

Ezreal can farm safely while you roam. Has great poke which you can follow up with. When playing with Ezreal, be mindful not to engage into minion waves as he won't be able to hit his Q's.

Twitch

Ideal

If you can coordinate your stealths together and play into that strength, it's pretty beastly. Play to win favourable trades. All in once enemy is within kill range.

Karthus

Ideal

This champs great to lane with. He scales so well, can die and still dish out damage. If enemy team is half hp, he can ult which sets you up for yours. His wall slows which makes your CC easy to hit. Just overall nice scaling synergy.
