I followed this guide and saw immediate improvement in my game. I had a few comments though.

- I am thrilled that you didn't feel the need to get Nashor's. I understand its benefit for Kayle but it takes forever to buy and I seem to be a lot more powerful with your item build instead and still get good cooldown. Almost every other guide I read demands getting Nashor's.

- I've gotten a bunch of early game kills going mid solo and bouncing back and forth between lanes to get ganks. Because Kayle clears minions so efficiently, there is plenty of time to leave for a bit and not find your lane in trouble. Definitely helps to have boots at the start to make fast trips. To do this though, I plug points into e and then q before w and I don't seem to miss he early heal boost.

- Any advice for dealing with people in the bushes? This seems to be my biggest problem. If somebody keeps ducking in and out of the tall grass I can never lock my e onto them and don't have enough health to get into a melee contest. Also, what level would you engage the dragon with your current build?

I have, but to be honest I prefer Youmuu's Ghostblade, above the black clever, both give good CDR, armor pen, but one gives armor shred and the other crit chance and an awesome active.

I prefer last whisper because at the end of the day when you fully stack black clever its only 25 percent.

Even if it is team effective. I prefer much more armor pen just for myself, without in need of auto attacking or stacking it 5 times.

have you ever thought of replacing last whisper with black cleaver? that way it will help the whole team or do you prefer last whisper?

I signed up just to Upvote this guide and tell you how amazing it is... I've been making teams surrender before the 25 minute mark with this build... They literally run from me in team fights.

Hey again, I tried it out again and this build works too. I'll however discuss a few things, not to troll on your build(believe me Kayle IS pretty good AD), but to point out a few things that i feel is important.

Kayle is an awesome champ who can be played both as Hybrid and AD with equal success although AD is a more powerful.

BUT, playing AD Kayle is very situation dependent (a high risk-high gain method). If your team doesn't have any viable AD carry, Kayle can fill the role but if your team already has 1 or 2 hard AD carry (Vayne, Ashe, Caitlyn, Yi etc.) I think Kayle shouldn't be played as AD. This is because if Kayle is played as AD in such cases, the teams EARLY and LATE game will suffer and the game end before the ADs can actually function.

You have said that Kayle gives more Damage as AD then as Hybrid at nearly same cost, its true BUT its the FINAL STATISTICS and you must actually farm up all the items before it can be calculated.

Lets take two Kayle. KAYLE AD and Kayle HYBRID

By 10 min mark,
Both have same RUNES (i.e ATTACK SPEED rune as you mentioned)

Both Kayle farmed like boss and have lets say 1800~ gold. (both start with boots and 3 pots)

NOW, AD Kayle goes back and gets a B.F. sword. (1650 gold). She cant buy anything else. (INFINITY EDGE rush)
HYBRID Kayle goes back and buys a Bilgewater Cutlass or Pickaxe+Daggers or some combo and She will eat AD Kayle alive. Similarly all the way
Yes, at final stage, Kayle is a lot stronger AD but if your team already has an Ad its your duty to manage the EARLY and MID game when your AD is weak and here HYBRID Kayle is much better.

So, in the end it all depends as how the game is flowing so that you can fill in Kayle accordingly. Hope i have made valid points.

A pretty good kayle build. Kayle is a viable AD hero as Reckoning scales well with AD, increases physical damage too by 10% and her base high attack speed. Only thing i would like too point out is this build makes kayle very fragile and easily burst killed and no AP means lesser heal. We can easily forego last whisper and include a Frozen heart. +99 armour makes kayle a bit more strong and added 20% CD tales her Cd too 39% (with yommus and masteries) making you have righteous fury constantly up. Also kayle doesnt need armour pen due to.her passive and yommus

He also ommitted the 300 (330 with reckoning) damage nuke from Gunblade. Furthermore, reckoning only scales on bonus damage, not base damage, so AD's damage is actually 104 less. With those corrections, hybrid actually comes out ahead by like 60-70 damage.

EDIT: +1'd. Despite the math errors in the guide, AD Kayle too stronk.
