Chapter 1

This Gangplank build is not recommended in all situations, or in higher quality play. However, it's pretty beastly lategame, and you make up for the lack of tankiness with insane lifesteal. With this build you will get exactly 100% critical strike chance at the end of the game, the main reason to building crit chance on the pirate is ofcourse his parrrley which can crit, so pretty much a ranged 1000 dmg every 4 seconds. His q also applies slows like phage proc, his passive and red buff allowing you to get up close and eat their soul :) If your team is fairly tanky already and have the ability to protect you (heals, shields, taunts etc) you become one of the hardest hitting champions in the game. You don't need to upgrade boots at any point in the game (E passive, zeal etc), I only get them because 50 movement speed for 350 is good early game. Your goal early on is to get as much cs as possible (not too hard with gp) and harass your lane opponent as much as you can. Farming the buffs is extremely important, double buff pirate is probably the scariest enemy to face (except maybe double buff Soraka, that dps **** gives me nightmares). Your ultimate is extremely strong but what you need to remember is to not just to use it for the damage, it is an also extremely potent zoning tool, cutting off escapes and slowing enough for you or your team to can catch up. Final notes: keep your bt stacks up lategame by farming the jungle, keep red on you at all times (blue buff is less useful later on when you have a bigger mana pool but is very stronk early on). Ult followed by q to slow, allowing you to get in close for slows, slows, slows and maybe some more slows is a great time to write in all chat (caps is necesarry) SURPRISE BUTTSECKS BIATCHES. Anyway, have fun and remember the golden rule of Gangplank = if you are crowd controlled at all just eat oranges (w) and it will be k, I promise. :D P.S. Sometimes a second point in his w early is needed (if you are being harassed in lane and being denied cs). Also, sometimes swapping either the trinity force or the second bloodthirster for a frozen mallet can be a good idea (even moar op slows, I would estimate with frozen mallet, passive and red they probably have 65ish% decreased movement speed with every auto-attack or parrrley which can be pretty troll. Or if you feel you need a bit of extra tankiness.
