For those who say this build isn't viable, why don't you try it out before criticizing? :) I love constructive criticisms. If humans don't make mistakes, how do we ever improve?
Have a nice day.
He reminded me a little bit of Rammus (which has perhaps the slowest clearing times but ganks are awesome). Perhaps using Jungle Thresh would depend on how much time your team can wait for a gank. I would need to do a little bit more testing.
I have yet to try it out, but I doubt Thresh proves himself useful in the ranked current meta for the jungle.
That said, I really like the idea behind it. The build seems legit, and because you propose to play as the tank/initiator, it makes a lot of sense. I would however add some items with more CDR, as Thresh skills have really long cooldowns (
You should update how you start in the jungle, since now the wolves spawn after the Blue buff camp, and with the rest of the Season 4 changes, that changes quite all the jungle route.
Overall I really liked your guide. I'm gonna give it a try in some normal games and give you my feedback :) +1!
Great Jungling guide, love it, +1 from me
thank you ver much :) I will keep this guide as updated as possible
Its Fun, i said down a day, and though.. Thresh could be a hardcore jungler/ganker, a landed Hook = 1 kill, nearly 99% of times...
I have never Junglet before, still i have an idea about, that is where my home is, and since thresh is my main.... yep yep..
So i started to try vs bots (using flay), and failed, tried again (using lantern), and failed, tried death sentence, failed again.. that where i hit me.. I should probably had runned the DEF-tree´s as my masteries... Like YOU DO!!
i wanted to combine, a smite and a tele, since i can be anywhere anytime..
you Other guide has that to!!
Long story short..
I do Highly like you guide, and i´m gonna use it as my future reference..
but as a player who had tried Thresh in Many ways, I Do not recommend thresh AP, at all..
Unless you can use you hooks, and aim for Zhonias Hourglass... it is mostly a 1 way ticket each time... though when it works ( that is depending on you team ofc).. It Hurts like HELL..
But i think overall, Thresh as AD is the best way of playing him.. and you ult stil hurts, but you do as AD have to power to hack´n´slash them after...
there is however 1 thing i am concerned about:
Does he get an equal amount of souls in the jungle as he could in a lane?
cause for me it seems like there are far lesser creatures in the jungle, so i guess a little farm from lanes will be necessary, if not much...
what are you opinion about that.
I have tried to find a way to calcuatle his AD/AP/AS dmg, got some good help to it.. and are currently trying to calculate how much attack speed, he max should have, to hurt most..
perhabs you find the info usefull:

So to point out my point, since realizing i write to much:
1.AP Thresh= only good in a good combined team..
2.AD Thresh is exstreamly good.. I am convinced that (death sentence) is a must in lv 1. lamb as 2nd, for jungle. After Wriggle´s lantern.. i would go directly for EI or Shield of aegis( depending on who i play agenst), since this gives earlie magic resist, + helps the whole team... then i would go for Zephyr for CD/AS/AD/passive.. anyway try it.. it works great, well as AD/tanky.. and i´m sure it can be combined with jungling..
anyway comment if you like.. or if you disagree, I am searching after THI Best build for him, and combined as jungle, my life would be perfect...
Hmm, so what you're trying to find is the strongest way to play thresh, correct? Junglers in my opinion are basically supports for the entire map, and therefore, he only gets gold if gank is successful. In other words, one has to find the fastest way to gank successfully, which is landing his main skillshot, Q, or force summoners. Recently, I've been rushing mobility boots asap, therefore, I can catch any laners easily 'cause their lack of movement speed. I main jungle, therefore, I'm still figuring out ways to become a better jungler. As a jungler, unless you have sustain lv 1, it is necessary for your laners to help you leash the camps. This guide is still developing, so hopefully, I can present you with the finest jungle Thresh guide. Thank you very much for your comment :)
