Seriously, it may seem like nothing, but reading what item/ability X actually does is one of the biggest parts of building a champion.
Does that mean... You guys don't choose items based on their icons? I always buy a Hextech Gunblade on melee champs so they have a gun too. :P I think that if someone wouldn't bother to read the item descriptions he wouldn't be here in the first place. Making the item descriptions smaller, adding only info not provided by the database like tiers and perhaps a quick sum-up or something, and instead stating a few times that they should definitely be read and why makes it more useful to the reader because they know to always read them and should make the guide look more compact, which makes it more likely people will read it all.

Perhaps it's a nice idea to add a list and explanation of the tiers. The Trinity needs its own "tons of damage" tier by the way :P

I like the idea, but I don't really agree on choosing a specific build and order. Of course we need one to show how it would generally work, but a lot of the decisions should be made in-game in my opinion. Because I think that's the real thing everyone should do, read a guide but don't follow it, if that makes any sense. Yeah you can make a sarcastic remark on that like I did xD . Also I don't think we learned how to build a champion to our own play-style as you state in Annex I, it's pretty hard to teach such a thing I guess. But perhaps you can succeed. Another thing I think would be nice is to explain the situational items on Luther's build.

Real nitpick:

Good luck with the guide!

EDIT: Just noticed I jumped to nitpicking immediately, wanted to say that I like the idea of the guide, I don't believe there is something like this yet on MOBAFire, and I think it would really benefit to new players to jump in to the thinking right away.

I would remove the description of the abilities'/items' passives from under their quickview, since people can just mouseover the icon to view it. The same goes for the damage/scaling values.

And you didn't take Masteries into account on the builds. Masteries and runes are very important in builds XD

Why does everyone say Ahri has poor AP scaling? Ahri has good AP scaling. All three Fox Fire hits on the same target hit for 80% AP, and hits on three different targets yield a whopping 120% AP ratio - on a 5 second cooldown at max rank.
