Pros / Cons
+ Strong Early Game (Ganks and Jungle Clear)
+ Can get out of sticky situations
+ Clean ganks
+ Assassinating potential on high priority targets (ADC)
Cons
- Low health "Squishy"
- Extremely vulnerable to CC
- Can be hard to get ahead if facing the right opponents
With Shaco possessing questionably the strongest early game ganks, frequent yet well executed ganks are vital in getting ahead. Something to keep in mind with ganking is the use of the "Jack in the Box" ability. Always cover your rear with this as it practically eliminates the risk of a counter-gank. A combo to use when ganking is a Q back-stab, followed by smite and ignite (if you have challenging smite) with a few auto attacks and an E when the slow is needed.
As stated above, ganking is an integral part in playing Shaco. While this now known, too many ganks can lead to a lack of focus on your jungle. Remember to take high priority buffs (Blue and Red) as enemies may see your ganks as an opportunity to steal these. With Shaco possessing quick camp clear, a risky move into the enemy jungle for Red or Blue could be beneficial, yet caution is advised.
