Very nice build. If you're going to play tanky dps urgot this would be the way to do it.

Avarice builds into the ghostblade, tho. I wouldn't pick it up otherwise.

Instead of an Avarice, if you're going to get a 5G/10sec item, the new Philos might not be a bad idea since it's only 800g and gives you some Mana/5 and HP/5 that would be needed early game.

That is if you decided to get a 5G/10sec item, of course. lol

The reason I opted for swiftness boots as default was for the extra chasing power. Urgot is a fairly slow champion, even with Quickness, and I try to save flash for when I use my ulti in a group fight, leaving me with just ghost for speedy chases/fleeing. Being able to keep up with the squishier champions, that often has some kind of escape ability helps.

Boots should always be tailored towards the other team and which ones you're laning against, anyway. If they got a lot of physical autoattackers, go dodge. If they got a lot of CC, go Mercury's. I often end up with Mercury's on him, unfortunately. ;)

im just wondering why not the dodge boots? id think they would be a better investment with the spec you laid out.. im very interested in this build.. but i think if im speccing dodge, id want the dodge boots

Yeah, it's mostly there for money, I could've left it out completely. In fact, I think I'll move it down to the build description instead, as it's not really that important a choice, it's just that if the game is slow and neither side is getting kills early, it does help to grab it early.

He does not have the damage output Ezreal has, true, but the playstyle is similar. You keep your range, spamming your Q to whittle down their health. I generally play fairly loose and aggressive, but with those two I generally find myself playing a lot more tight. I guess it all depends on how you play Ezreal, but I find the two champions requires a different playstyle than my usual.

As for damage, using the double set of runes lets you skip an early mana regen item and spend all that gold towards damage items, making last hitting and harrassing a breeze.

I usually play with my brother, who plays a mean vladimir and hogs middle lane, but I am quite often able to catch up and surpass him in kills late-game even though I start in a side-lane.

I'm just wondering why you have the random avarice blade there, is it to contribute extra gold to help you get your more expensive items later on?

I feel that you could find a way to increase Urgot's damage urgot in the early game, since he has an extremely useful harassing skill and shield to help land kills and ganks.

In your build you say Urgot handles like ezreal, yet you don't seem to have enough damage output until very late game (you'll be hanging around 137dmg until your BF sword), seems you built him more to act like tank for most of the game.

Just my opinion, and I'm rather new to this, so feel free to argue with me XD
