Wanna get to higher elo? Tired of noobs in 1k elo? Follow this build once you play Olaf and have fun owning

Tons of Armor Penetration.
Then some Armor and Magic resist runes. Nothing special. Buy runes yourself and see what fits Olaf better.

Go 9-21 as your E has really short range and u have to be in the middle of the teamfight in order to focus squishy carries , so you need tons of armor. Leave 21-9 for carries, Olaf needs 9-21

Start cloth armor 5x pots vs ad top, or boots 3x pots vs ap top.
The next think you want to do as olaf is stack HP so u can spam your true damage. Warmogs fits him perfectly due to nice hp regain that Warmogs offer.
Go for heart of gold for extra hp and gold and then build it into Randuins so you dont have to afraid of enemy ad carries anymore
Force of nature extra magic resist and some great health regain.. Spam your E more!!
Frozen Heart - overall great tanky item. Cooldown for your E and extra defence which is always nice. Makes you even more tanky and non killable by any ad champ in the game.
Maw of Malmortius - with this build you are going to have nice amount of Hp and the more hp you lose the more AD Olaf gets. Once you drop to 2-1.5k hp you gonna have tons of ad without any Ad items. + extra magic resist and 55 ad. The only Ad item in your build. And that shield is gonna save you against annoying squishy but high damage ap carries. So nobody can stop you know. Just wait for the right moment and wait for good initiation and get that damn Penta.

You wanna max true damage as fast as possible together with W lifesteal ( if u lane vs ad)
You wanna max Q asap ( if u lane vs ap)

Ghost - that extra movement for olaf which is so damn needed. Or you can get Trinity force but its as good as other items for Olaf.
Ignite/exhaust - if u lane vs ap take ignite , ad - exhaust.

This is Ranked games build. Forget atmas impaler. It has been nerfed - it sucks now. Not worth buying. Forget the old gay builds - this is the legendary build that you can carry your bad team wuth. Ofc u wont win all games as your mid and bot will often feed but you might still carry those unskilled players.

Pros

*tons of hp + huge hp regen
*epic tankiness. noone can take you out 1 on 1 ( not sure about jax haha)
*you will not feed even with this build even if you play olaf for the 1st time
*great initiator and Ad/ Ap carries killer. Turn your R on and go after their carries a.k.a most damage dealers and take them out of the game. Win the fight and the game. Raise your elo
*tons of damage not only to squishy targets but also to tanky. His E (true damage) ignores even 500000 armor and hits that 340 each 3 or 4 seconds. Tanky Shen? Alistar? Mundo? Maokai? FORGET ABOUT IT!! They gonna drop health so fast they wont even notice.
*ungankable in toplane

Cons

*low damage early
*using E too often will result in being killed or pushed to turret and missing minnions early game.
*low movement speed. targets can often run away if you are not skilled Olaf player.
