Hello League Players. My name is Ssumdays, an EUNE ADC main. I started playing League of Legends in season 2 and i´ve held many breaks from the game, but for some reason i always start playing it again. My rank is only Gold 2 at the moment, because i recently started playing ranked again. My rank peak is Plat 3.

This guide is for the people who think Vayne look like a cool champion and would like to main her. Thats what im here for. Helping you to crush your lane opponent and gain some of that juicy elo.

Okay here is where the basics starts. First i hope u know what her abilities does, but if u dont here´s a video to kinda helping u understand more hopefully. Play Video Please remember that this isn´t me showing you this. I just found it and thought it was a good short video that could make u understand the basics of the basics.

Vayne is one of two adc´s in the game that has a stealth She is also one of three adc´s that has a stun available and the ONLY one who have it on a non-ultimate. Lets not forget the ability to constantly re-position herself with tumble, allowing her to do insane kiting and chasing. Couple that with one of the largest passive move speed buffs in the game, Vayne is one versatile champion.

Champions that deal true damage are rare, but even rarer is an ADC that deals true damage. You guessed it,auto attack reset and re-position spell Vayne is also incredibly unique in that she has an auto attack reset and re-position spell wrapped into one spell that, when maxed, is available almost every two seconds. This, in a duel at level 13, when used with proper skill, Vayne can odge an enemy skill shot while triggering an auto attack re-set every 2-3 seconds.

A good Vayne player can almost do everything. A person who shows that is the only and only Gosu. If you dont believe me then watch this video.

Kinda. Vayne has her problems. The two main ones are the ones im going to talk about.

Weak Laning Phase

Vayne is the PERFECT late game hard carry. But the lane is tough. She has no Burst and low range when u compare to other adc´s. She also has a serious lack of a hard escape, means its easy to fall behind in the early game. Its 100% possible to win a lane as Vayne, but harder than if u wanted to do it as someone like Lucian.

Shes Kinda Hard

Not that I am saying you are all bad, because u cant play Vayne. Even ADC mains can have a hard time learning Vayne. The reason to that is the fact that shes so different in playstyle. She has a dash that cant go over walls, short range and she relies on stealth to survive the teamfights.

That being said, she´s beyond worth to learn. Vayne is a super fun champion to play who is also extremely strong. Many people rank her among the top 3 champions for solo q, including extremely high level players like phylol and Gosu. I just want you guys to be aware of the rabbit hole that you're diving into should you chose to try and learn Vayne.

Seals

When u make your rune page u need to think about what your champion needs the most. Vayne has a low base armor, which makes it usefull to have +1 armor seals. Without these the enemy lane who probably got those will out trade you if u dont play it 100% perfect.

Glyphs

This is the same concept as with the Seals. Vayne doesn´t have that much magic resist so u go +1,34 magic resist as your Glyphs. This way u will be protected if the enemies got an AP support.

Marks

All ADC´s need some damage. Thats why u go +0,95 AD as your Marks. This makes it alot easier to last-hit. It also helps when you are trading with your laner.

Quintessence

As your Quintessence´s I think its best to get +4,5 Attack Speed. This feels alot better than i you didnt have any attack speed. Also helps with, pushing, and last-hitting.

Masteries

U can either choose to go with Warlord´s Bloodlust or Fervor of Battle. I have played Vayne alot so I feel confident enough going with fervor. If u dont feel Confident enough, then go with Warlord´s Bloodlust so you dont get punished for your mistakes as hard, than if u were Fervor of Battle.
