You are right on the creeping death, but i personally use MoS for more dmg early game. About the boots its OBVIUS for every player on this game that they have to change the boots depending on the situation. I assure you, no items like rilay'sand frozen mallet are nedeed if you know how to play, i can make them notice me without cc items.

Thanks for posting, i hope you tried it before talking.

I like how you say you focus on getting magic resist and armor, but you don't level Creeping Death with Siphon Of Destruction. Creeping Death raises your armor and magic resist and if you're going tank like you say you are, I think you should be focusing your skill order towards that way. Also, ninja tabi boots every game? What if you're facing a more caster team? There's no suggestion for other boots to switch to. And finally no CC item like Frozen Mallet or Rylai's. You're a tank that start with no CC and you're going to need CC if you want people to notice you. No one has to focus you first just because you're first. If the players are good enough, they'll walk past you and kill all of your squishies. There's nothing you can do to stop that. Great, you're built up like a giantic shield, but only for yourself. Your team mates are still vulnerable...

i think you should level creeping death and siphon of destruction at the same time level it siphon of destruction hen creeping deaths no need to get mace of spades till dead last because its an aoe damage plus increases your Armour which is a big plus on him and is good for his sun fire and mace of sapdes doesnt even do much im just sayiing

Well, if alahric says so, i believe hes right. I DONT like the CDR thing so im not going to vote possitive on a build i dont like. Now, my friends voted my build because i always play with them and they know my build is one of the best for mordekaiser. Im going to try your build and see what happens, but honestly more than the 54 seg for CoTG i dont believe im gonna like it. For Calculus just 1 thing to say: im from Argentina and if you dont like my english go get another guide.
When you said that my build is similar you wre really mistaken. I have seen alot of tank mordekaisers, they all rush warmog guardian angel and thornmail. While i try to change the third item and the last to ones depending on the enemy team. I never had a bad k/d ratio with my build, even against feeded champions. Again im going to try yours, and the if i like it, if i really do you are going to get a possitive vote from me.

Again, thanks for posting.

First: Learn to spell.
Second: Learn not to fail. CDR Morde is the way to go.

I have tried it. It's practically how I started playing Morde when I was a newb. But then I got good with him and realized that it was my build that was holding me back. Found out about how CDR works wonders in so many ways and went from there.

Yes, there are dozens of similar builds. But notice...most all of them have few views, few votes, few comments and hover around 50%. There's a reason for it. You're not building around the character but rather using him as a vessel to haul around Sunfire Capes.

P.S. Sunfire Capes are getting nerfed. Dev's hint that the item will become Unique. What then?

I saw Mordekaisers with your CDR build and they got raped by me and by my team. I dont understand why trying so hard on making him a dps champion..

I'm not making him a DPS champion. You don't see me attempting to stack AP to boost his damage do you?

Quoted:
we all know that the job of morde is to get a ghost and own everyone standing on your way.

I do get a ghost. With capped CDR I can get a ghost every 54 seconds. How about you? About every minute and a half? There are team fights when I get 2 Ghosts during the duration of the fight! So yes. I very much can do the job that Morde is supposed to do. Get a Ghost (or often in my case Ghosts) and own everyone standing in my way.

Quoted:
I get the shield filling thing, but honestly i cant find whats good of CDR. First try my build, it works better than most of the builds for mordekaiser on this web.

Did you read my Build? Did you read the Theory (well now it's pretty much fact) about what CDR does for Morde?

40% CDR = 40% more damamge. Less shield downtime = longer survivability = "tanky"

40% CDR = Capped CD on abilities: 2.4s MOS. 8s Creeping Death. 3.6s Siphon. 54s CoTG. If you want ghosts, this ensures you can kill people before they get away. Especially since the 2 main core CDR items my build has you buy gives Morde 3 types of CC. Which definitely helps from keeping runners from getting away.

Using your abilties at maxed CDR means your shields are getting filled a lot quicker, its a non-stop influx of shields. You said you wanted Morde to be Tanky...how does this not scream "pain in the *** to kill?"

I don't understand how you can say something like
Quoted:
but honestly i cant find whats good of CDR
To me this means you don't have a full understanding of how Morde's mechanics work. If you'd read in my comments section. You'll notice how Alahric, who used to have the #1 Morde build with defense items and sunfire capes, now endorses my build because he understands how incredible CDR is for him.

That's all the breath I have right now. I'll let that sink in before we go on.

Also, as a side note. I appreciate your downvote in retalliation. That's one of the highest forms of maturity that the Mobafire community strives for. Also, creating multiple accounts and having your friends vote your account up right after you create your build to give it a steroid shot to the top doesn't win any merits. The community will recognize the true strength of the build and thus it will balance out in the end. I tried to be civil in my first post, and just because someone comes along and says they don't like your build doesn't mean that automatically awards them a downvote.

Infact. I don't downvote someone until I've had a chance to write a response and see what their reply is. You replied with a downvote and honestly, a pretty poor response.

Lastly. There's a reason why 2 Veterans have given me ribbons for my build. (that is their "seal of approval for a great build").

Not to pry or anything...but this build is the same as about 90% of the other Morde builds on this site. Nothing original except that you don't run a Warmog's (Thank God)

Many are finding that Morde with capped (or at least nearly capped) CDR is the key structure to running him effectively.

40% CDR = 40% more Dps. And quicker shield filling (less down time, more overall HP because constant refilling of your gray bar) What's not to love about CDR on Morde?
