Okay so this build I found works really well against those annoying bastards like Anivia, when I verse my friend who mains Anivia with this build he Rage Quits because he can barely do **** against me even with his magic pen. And Garen's Silence really smacks people that use Anivia or any other AP player across the face. I dont always win with this build since most people I play with in PVP like to roam the jungles for buffs or just in general randomly solo a lane and get ganked. And as a tank it makes me cry since i am the one that is supposed to be sucking up damage. Anywho this build is strongly built against those AP players hopefully you guys will enjoy it as much as I have :)

Pros: You soak up enough damage against AP players to land your team the kills and win teamfights
You can 1 v 1 just about any AP champion
If you can make it to Warmogs then you are basically a good cross tank. :I

Cons: Not enough armor
If you cant get Warmogs and there is an AD on the other team then GG he will do quite the damage

I am going to assume Skill Sequence now means the order in which I use a combo :3

So here is my full combos.
I use my E then Q to boost speed and when I am done twirling I quickly try and land an auto-attack to deal that extra damage along with a silence to shut em up. I end in my R doing the last bit of damage I need to land that lovely kill.
In a team fight I use this combo as much as possible- Q-Silence-W-E-(If CD is done) choose the focused enemy that you and your team agreed upon slaying first to get them out of the way, R. Repeat but use E-Q-Auto-attack-E. Should gain you an advantage in a teamfigh resulting in a win of a team fight if lucky.

To be honest my farming with Garen and champions in general is a little off. But this is what i do when farming, last hit(Obviously) Or if the minions are to large and great, just use W-E and then you should gain lots of kills. It will also do you good to farm since your W gives you perma Magic Resist and Perma Armor. It caps at 25 when it is maxed ranked.

I give credit to Alenena for the build I used that persons build and got me most of the wins I get with Garen. But I needed to expand and improve that build to make Garen to my liking.
So I start with Boots of Speed to give an extra blast of running away power from an enemy early in the match. I get 3x health pots so when i am low on health and my passive starts I can add even more recovery with my health pots. I then quickly grab Spirit Visage and get the CoolDown boots so I can use E more often. Then I rush FoN so I can regen health faster and FoN combined with the passive basically means you lane forever with a lot of farming involved. Hide in brush when you think you need to recover wait the 7 seconds and let the rest do its magic. After that I grab Randuins Omen since it gives me a good armor/magic resist balance in mid game. Then I get GAuardian Angel. And end with Warmogs if I can make it by that point the game has already ended but when I do make it to Warmogs I am unstoppable and no one can kill me. Sometimes I need Thornmail depending on the team I am versing.
