great guide ! but u cant call this a tank/carry guide, as you're neither of them ;) not enough damage for a carry or survivability for a tank.

Well I did try this, albeit on a smurf, and the lane was completely wrecked from their part. I ended up not carrying pots, which turned out ok, which solved some of my problems, because garen doesn't really need them past the initial purchase.

Thanks for your opinion but I will hold true to my own. I will however add a new item build for opposing a balanced team composition. Also please do try my build to see if you can better understand what I am trying to accomplish. I like hard counters to both AP and AD in matches because it expands my life capacity to deal out DPS. If their entire team targets me hopefully my allies can deliver the damage.

As garen your should get defensive items with hp, thornmail is ONLY for real tanks, ik its cheap but you are wasting 1 slot and 2k wich could get u like 600 hp, yes u will be awesome early mid and yes you will easily kill that fed yi, but you are doomeed if that veigar or leblanc comboes you, yes you have magic resist wich might help a lot but you really need more hp

Nice valid points I will look into it to see if I can tweak to run more smoothly. My reasoning for keeping the Regrowth Pendant for extended time is for the extra health regen to go with Garen's passive and the rune set of Vigor. Still item space does run thin but it is workable.

I feel you sit on regrowth too long, not that it takes anything away, but with regrowth, health pots, boots, mallot, and zeal, and wards, you start running out of room before your core is complete.

Solid work on first ever written guide. Could use a little bit of a retouch on a few things but I think your on to something. Keep up the good work.
