So I guess this only works for 5v5?
You would want to use a different build for 3's I think. something less costly that doesn't require time to stack. This guide is for 5v5 in the situation that all the primary roles are filled. This is kind of a premade/ranked thing. its not likely that you will find 4 pubs that will fill all the primary roles.
Clarity is not just for you, it's also for your lane mate. But there are many other good options (i.e. CV).

Well I play alistar, and im sorta questioning about the clarity. If this build starts with Sapphire Crystal, why do you need clairty? When I play without mana(mostly just full tanking) and just a Philo Stone, I BARELY get mana starved. Otherwise this is good, +1 to you Battok.

This guy just proved my point :/ Downvoting because you say clarity is viable for support champions. I mean, he's so right. Only have the builds on mobafire with more than 85% have clarity as a suggestion, but it's just such a terrible spell. Really, you're tired of trolling in game, so you have to take it to helpful guides and builds that help people who have trouble with the game? You're just pitiful.
