Introduction to Hecarim
I would like to say that this is only my second build so if you have any suggestions please leave a comment below.
Hecarim Champion Spotlight:
Chosen:
Ghost: I naturally chose ghost in all my builds because it gives a bonus to movement speed which adds attack damage.
Smite: Obviously if your jungling you need this and if your not then you don't
Exhaust: the reason I chose this ability is it helps you in the late game to land blows and keep enemies from running away better (obviously you can catch up I know but it is also helpful to use before Onslaught of Shadows, during rampage and/or Spirit of Dread, and after devastating charge.)
Teleport: I understand that you have increased movement speed but to gank all the way across the map you would want to get there ASAP so you would use teleport pick up some kills then run away and recall or you could rush the lane next to you from the side then teleport back to your lane to escape or pick off more enemies.
Recommendations:
Ignite: It provides extra damage, I like it.
Heal: I know its noobish but you have little health and, unless you play my tank build, you may need a little extra health.
Cleanse: Easy, to remove all spells and crowd control effects, may be helpful in a team fight or if your ambushed.

when you jungle as Hecarim use spirit of dread immediatly then follow it up with rampage rampage rampage until the monster dies. Not so hard really. At the very beginning of the game however im assuming your level 1 you need to kill the wolves then wraiths then non buff golems after that use a hp potion adn have someone pull the red buff, that is most usfull to Hecarim, finally go to your lane and return and do this technique again as soon as they all repawn if your a hardcore jungler.
also you must remember if you are jungling to place wards. You must also remember that they only last for 3 minutes, I believe, you will want to place them at baron, dragon the ganking routes to your lane and at red and blue buff on their side if you team is pushing and on your side if the other team is pushing.
If your teammate has ignite, exhaust, heal or a very good damage/slow ultimate then tell them when to use it and once you say so use Onslaught of shadows just ahead of the enemies to fear them back toward your teammate them use devastating charge to knock him/them back even farther. Finally use spirit of dread and rampage, rampage, rampage to secure the kill.
some of the unique skills Hecarim has that we cannot forget are that devastating charge knocks back enemies dependent on the amount of time he uses the ability for but also it grants him bounds movement speed so it is a great ability to use to get around the map very quickly. I also noticed that after about 4 seconds there is a faint blue park beneath his hooves and he moves even quicker. I say if your using this ability to knock back an enemy be sure to wait for that spark so have it charging a bit beforehand.
Also, Hecarim's ultimate, Onslaught of Shadows, makes all enemies hit by it run away from Hecarim for a few seconds. this is very useful when you want to push an enemy/enemies back toward your team and remember to deal as much damage as possible with this ability be sure to have your ground smash also hit the enemy.
