Introduction
My handle is Glaute and this is my first attempt at creating a build. This build is going to concentrate on minimizing the weaknesses and bringing out the strengths in Heimerdinger. As being one of the "squishier" champions brought to us in LoL, I will be fusing his Burst/DPS damage with survivability.

Lets Talk Items
Survivability
One thing Heimer needs most of all is more fortitude in all aspects. Here is three items that will do just that and also pair nicely with his need for more and more ability power.
Abyssal Scepter - This is where we get the much needed Magic Resist to fend of magic attacks, +57 MR, and a nice 70 AP to boost the damage of his skills. Also, the Abyssal Scepter provides a nice debuff to surrounding enemies of a -20 MR to help ensure his skills are damaging enemies at all times.
Zhonya's Hourglass - The Hourglass brings a nice 50 Armor to deal with the onslaught of physical damage that will occur when Heimer gets to close to the action, and an additional 100 AP will only increase the damage potential. Another little bonus, a unique active that makes Heimer invulnerable for 2 seconds, but with no ability to make any actions. No worries tho, Heimer's passive Techmaturgical Repair Bots lets his very presence heal his turrets and allied units.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter - Rylai's simply makes Heimer beefier with the addition of 500 health to his life pool and a substantial boost of Ability Power with +80 AP. Furthermore, Rylai's unique passive makes spell damage reduce the enemy's movement speed by 35% for 1.5 seconds, giving Heimer the edge to chase down enemies or make a successful escape.
