Good build, while you don't have much CC resist excluding Mercury Tread's, it's a great build. GJ +1

I love Maokai builds :)

I realised that if you rush Catalyst fast enough (By level 5), and take Clarity, you mana problems won't be that high. Mana Management is the key :)

Also, duo queueing for maximum playing abilities as possible is great :) The coordination is really good for most Maokai players.

This guy is a friend of mine and I can say in a totally unbiased way, if you know how to play Maokai mechanically as a champion, this is a deadly way to play/build him in game. We often queue with 2-4 people, and the random player(s) often have a O_o face on when they see this. The panic is quickly dismissed.

The early chalice along with clarity eliminate any mana problems whatsoever and you get farmed up very nicely similar to how you see solo top Cho'gath played in tournaments; farm up and arrive as the unkillable, but still dangerous tank. My only possible question mark is taking heal, but to be honest you definitely do not need flash so anything else will work fine based on preference. Heal is just to synergise with your ult and to let you stay in lane forever.

Maokai is ridiculously underrated and you can literally carry games using this style of play. The only 'disadvantage' is that he is a pretty nonstandard champion, and you need to know you stuff to be effective.
