This is a guide for solo laners, but it is useful for either 3v3 and 5v5, Vlad is one of the best solo laners there are in the fields of justice; you may take advantage of your skills to get many kills without getting ganked.

Vlad depends on Transfusion so he can kill his opponent so when starting I reccomend boots so you can move fast.

Do not use transfusion on your opponent use it to last hit and farm til you are level 7, then use it both ways.

when your opponent is weak surprise him with your Hemoplague and uste transfusion, then slow him with sanguine pool and use transfusion again, the idea is to calculate that your ult will kill em.

Do not get ganked! if they come to gank you use ghost and then Sanguine Pool, you will get away very easy!

If your opponent is scared then try to gank the other players, you may do the same but your team will be there to help you.

The idea is not to buy items til you can buy Needlesly Large Rod, it will be easy since you're combining farming and ganking, then buy Rabaddon's Deathcap (sorry about Zohnya in the sequence btw) and then follow the sequence building it as you please.

Vlad is not a tank, but still he can act tank like so in team battle you will do basically the same sequence, try to ult where it reaches the most possible enemies and transfusion everytime you can, if they're focusing you use pool to get away.
