I made this guide because I'm sick of seeing all of these damn stupid Garen guides that tell you NOT to build him as a tank and NOT to get Sunfire Cape. I don't really care whether what your opinion is/was because you no longer have one. This guide is now all you know about Garen. Read up, learn up, and soon you'll be getting more kills than any scrubby brutalizer build will EVER get you.

ArP Marks- Makes you hit harder..derp
Armor Seals- Becuase you're a tank...derp
MResi Glyphs- Because you're a tank...derp
ArP Quints- Helps you do MORE damage, you have enough, health/resistance anyway.

4/18/8 I know it obviously aint conventional but Garen fills a bunch of rolls and sticking all your points in one tree seems like a waste.

The items I like to use on Garen are pretty standard tank items(FoN/Randuin's/Banshee's) PLUS an Atma's and Sunfire cape. The awesomeness of Sunfire cape on Garen is indescribable. The combination of it and spin2win= pure rape at any stage of the game.

Ghost and Exhaust..pretty damn obvious choices!

Perfectly fine to sub in:
Flash...Helps you get away, always a good choice
Ignite...Gives just that little bit of extra of damage to help with kills
Teleport...A lot of people don't like this spell but I find it very useful and fun to play with

You could get away with using one of these...maybe:
Fortify...Tank usually picks this up, sometimes useful as long as its imp'd
Cleanse...You're gonna get CC'd/ignited quite a bit since you are the tank. This lets you free!

To be completely honest with you I really don't care what types of other **** you build on him as long as you get a Sunfire on him FIRST. A Garen with a Sunfire at 15 mins is something EVERYONE should fear. If I see ANY of you in a game playing Garen without a DAMN SUNFIRE CAPE I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL FIND YOU AND ****ING SPIN TO WIN ALL OVER YOURE DAMN STUPID FACE. And no, that's not a threat, it's a PROMISE ;D
