Draven is the absolute worst-case scenario for Vayne. Throughout the laning phase, you HAVE to sit back and only get farm when there is enough distance between you and him where he can't auto attack you, because his attacks early game do a TON of damage thanks to his Q. After level 6, nothing changes much, because his ult gives him as much of a spike in damage as your ult does. DO NOT take a 2v2 fight against him unless you absolutely have to, because he will win 90% of the time.
Playing vs Caitlyn is one of the worst lanes for Vayne. Her range means that she can just continuously auto attack Vayne and not have to worry about taking any damage back. In the early game, just sit back and get as much farm as possible without killing yourself. Asking the jungler for a gank while she is pushed up can be quite effective, because the lane will likely be pushed up to your tower. After level 6, if you aren't too far behind, going in with your ult will almost always end in your favor. Getting up in Caitlyn's face is the most effective, because she does best while damaging from a distance.
Champion Build Guide
Last hitting minions is massively important to gaining an advantage over your lane opponent being up by just 30 cs is nearly equivalent gold-wise to being up two kills. This kind of advantage directly translates to your ability to snowball the lane, and ultimately the game.
You should be farming as much as possible, but sometimes it might not be that way.If that's the case, you have to have patience until late game.
HOW TO GET BACK IN THE GAME
You have to be careful with enemy laner if they have more items than you ( if you come back with a vamp scepter, and he with BF sword) and you have to just try your best to pull the creep wave near your tower and last hit under tower. If you're able to last hit under tower calmly, you should be completely fine. If anything,if you get your outer turret destroyed early freeze the wave IMMEDIATELY (which means you last hit at the very last moment) so that the enemy bot lane HAS to overextend to continue farming from bot lane. If you're able to do this, you should be completely set with catching up!
