Hello guys and welcome to my new Irelia build and a little guide how to play her.

First some questions someone asked or said and I will answer them for you!:

"Omg why are you playing Irelia?
She is a bad jungler.
Xin Zhao is much better.

ok. I play her cause she is funny to play, also a good tanky dps carry and she is one of the lonely champs i like to play more than 1 or 2 times successively.

No she isnt a bad jungler !!! But even not so good!!!

Maybe is Xin Zhao a good champ BUT they are incomparable, I think. Some Xins, I killed easy, others were unkillable for me. I played Xin Zhao 1 or 2 times too and he is one of the champs I hate in this game. I just dont like him and this is my opinion. And pls dont compare Irelia and Xin Zhao.

I just played this 2 times. 1 game i went pretty well, the other game it was not the best idea. In my first game the enemys didnt understand that i am the tank and so they focused me and my team won easily. Other game my team and me sucked hard and we lost like ****.

My tank build will never develop to a guide because i dont like it myself but i just wanna show you it. Maybe you like it.

Please dont give me a thumb down for it...

Pros:
-nice farmer
-good tanky dps carry
-funny to play
-massively damage
-good escape chance with her "E" and "R".
-1v1 nearly best champ



Cons:
-easy to kill untill you have got your def items
-a little bit unpopular
-difficult to play

Greater Mark of Desolation: You need armor penetration. You can use it for every AD/AS carry in the game. You should have it.

Greater Seal of Alacrity: Look at the topic of the guide. :D
You can also use armor runes for simply jungling.

Greater Glyph of Alacrity: TOP!!!!

Greater Quintessence of Fortitude: I think health is better than armor peneteation in the beginning, BUT you can use both. 100 health are nice in the beginning but in the end are 9 armor penetration much better than 100 health.

Ghost: I think best summoner spell in this game. You can survive easy, you can run after someone. Whatever. Its simply the best.

Smite: You want to go in the jungle? Take it!

Flash: If you dont jungle take this at second summoner spell. If you use it usefull, it will save your *** if you cant handle it, dont take it.

Ignite: I hate Mundo. If you cant handle "Flash" take Ignite... against theese Mundo Bi*c*es. Not just Mundo ,also against Vladimir, Fiddle is it ingenious.

Exhaust: Everytime a good summoner spell. After patch you can use it very varied. It can save your *** because of the slow or you can get the kill because of it. You can reduce many ultis like Katharinas's or maybe Fiddlesticks's (I just dont know other examples). If you want, take it!

Cleanse: I nearly never use it. I just forget it. Everytime. I dont take it. But i saw many people handling it nice.

Teleportation: It's in some situations good but i think not that much for Irelia. Irelia has got enough movespeed.

Berserker's Greaves: Attack Speed!!!

Wit's End: After the patch a very very good Item because for every hit you get up to 42 magical damage. I like it, you havent to. But first try it and if you dont like it you can write something bad.

Madred's Bloodrazer:Per hit 4% from the enemy health. Genious!

Banshee's Veil: You got damage now you should get somthing def. Dont buy it if the enemy have got only AD but nearly everytime a good item, also after the patch!

The Black Cleaver:After the patch one of the greatest item in the game. BUY IT! If you dont like it or you mean it dont work well you should buy "Phantom Dancer"

Randui's Omen: You have got magic resist you need armor. The END!

You need a high damage dealer at your side or a tank. You dont need a supporter because your damage is not that high at the beginning. I did it with a Nasus and I was glad how good it worked. Later our team just won cause of us. Same story like mid laning. At the beginning try to last hit minions. Later play offensive.

Ok if you know that you can handle Irelia good then you can go (if nobody need it more) mid lane. Till you are level 5 you will have to play defensly and you should just last hit the minions. But then you can play offensive and maybe get a kill. I tried it against a Twisted Fate. First he could harasse me very much but then I had got 3 kills. Even against Warwick and Twisted Fate I killed both and survive with half life. Mid laning with Irelia is very nice and useful. She gets faster her Hiten Style uped.

How to survive in hopeless situations?
First use Equilibrium Strike to stun him/her! Than open Ghost and simultaneously Transcendent Blades. Shot your Transcendent Blades behind you and run away. If you got it use exhaust on someone. With flash you should try to cross walls.

Start at the 2 golems. Use Smight on the one of both and kill the other one with auto hits. You should be now level 2. Go to the wraiths and use both skills to kill the big wraith first. After that kill the 3 other ones and go to the wolfes. Kill them and begin with the mana buff. You should have Smight ready. It shouldnt be a problem to kill him. After it do the 2 golems again. Then recall. After that do the Lizard. Then help your mates.

In my last games I realized that jungling isnt that good for Irelia. I just write it down and i hope you will read it. If you dont do horrible on lane or even on mid lane, laning will be the better part for you. It's just my opinion that I got in my last games.

You can use your "Q" to kill waves of them and your ulti does it too. You can even use your "W" and beat them dead. Do what you want. At the end of the game you should have minimum 150 creep kills.

Teamfight:
You are one of the carry or maybe the only. So you have to be a little bit defensly untill you see that the enemys just attack your tank. Then search for an easy target. You may not DIE! This is important. Otherwise your team will miss much damage. When you have got Banshee's Veil you can be more aggresive and when you have got Randuin's Omen you can shouldn't think you are tank or don't jump in before the tank can do it because then you will be an easy target and instantly down. So be careful. Also you shouldn't think you can do a 1v2. Perhaps you can but you should know if can do it or not. Just good Irelia player know what they can do and what they can't.

1v1:
This is one of Irelia's ace in the hole. Exept Master Yi or Tryndamere perhaps Malzahar too and some other champs is Irelia one of the best champs in 1v1. But all of them are depends by their Ultimate. Bladesurge -> Equilibrium Strike -> Hiten Style -> Maybe if needed Transcendent Blades

Hiten Style is the reason why I play Irelia with attackspeed. Thanks to Hiten Style is Irelia a champ like nobody other. It deals 15/30/45/60/75 true damage and heal you per hit 10/14/18/22/26. This epic skill you should be upgrade through attackspeed.
