As my first guide (and possibly only) i decided i might as well put one on Irelia, her being my favourite champion. It was actually just some random time in a twisted treeline game I decided to use her as she was on the rota. When I played her I was amazed at how powerful she was (I didn't even know the "joke" about nerfing her). Since then I bought her with hard earned IP. I improved on my build and looked at other guides to help me. Finally I came to this build as my truly favourite one, and is definatley deadly if your doing it right.

Pros

+She can be ridiculously powerful
+Fun to use
+Has a powerful stun
+designed to assasinate carries

Cons

+Items determine EVERYTHING
+Going to need a good farm
+Not much better at tanking than anyone else unless built tanky
+Everyone demands nerfing

Why do I have those runes? Well I just have a general page for AD champs that have some ability power abilities that can be useful e.g. Irelia ultimate gives health back so having more AP increases amount returned. Feel free to request different runes however should you feel necessary.

These generally focus around the AD aspect of Irelia's damage output with some small AP damage for the stun and ultimate. Along with the armour and magic resistance that is provided from the defence page. Summoners insight is really just for flash after all.

Well.... Flash... honestly most broken of all the summoner spells so you might as well use it.
You can use ignite instead of exhaust but frankly I just enjoy watching people fail to solo tower dive me at lv 3... why do they never learn? Between her stun and exhaust they're beyond saving... unless a shen miraculously becomes lv 6 and they flash.

Why these items? Its mostly to do with having a lot of attack speed so that you can abuse Hiten Styles' active effect as much as possible for the abilities lv 5 75 true damage per basic attack. If you couldn't tell this build revolves (as most of them will) around Irelia making her quite vulnerable to champions like Teemo if your not careful (but remember when blinded abilities still hurt). However if you ever decide to change something I usually have the Madreds Bloodrazer as a standard item but usually its changed for more situational items.

Admittedly ive seen other guides with their fancy images and boundless colours and im just sticking simple with text and some colours. If you want to provide me some suggestions towards this build or its contents then please feel free. How can free advice be dangerous right?...
