I just don't feel like it brings anything new to the table, and in my opinion, other guides are better.

-For skill sequence, I don't think that there is a huge difference, as Bladesurge just gives you a better burst but hiten gives you incredible consistant damage. I'm kinda confused at this point too, which is why i alternated between both. I like hiten style. I really do. Ill try it out a bit more and see what I think
-The HoG thing, yea okay I guess, but im just saying, I like to have defence early on, but ofc, the GP10 is probably important... >.> Ill change it.
-runes, well, okay. Makes sense.
-As i said above, I'm not strict on summoners, so you can take watever suits you. I did have that sections for good summoners (ghost, flash, exhaust, tele, ignite, etc). I did run ignite and flash irelia for a while, but I feel like I want ghost for a better chase. I know, shes super mobile, but I dunno. Im just gonna say its personal preference for this one.
-Masteries... well, I used to go with 9/0/21, but I thought that i wanted more offensive power. I understand how good the utility tree is on her, but ehh.... I guess I can go with 0/9/21.... I'll add it in.
-LOLOLOLOLOL, I would never do it in a ranked. its just that my old build was called "Jack of All Trades", and I put a lot of different ways to build and play her. I know its not that good, and I think I forgot to mention it.... kay thanks gonna add that in. The main purpose I added it was that I thought it was fun and other Irelia players can try something new. :3

Something I thought I should point out, You can stack health for much cheaper and early game health is 100% better than arm/mr say you got that heart of gold, sure it don't give armor but the health will oddly enough make you appear tanky.
I usually take the skills in this order:
E-Q-W-Q-Q-R, then maxing E, followed by W, and Q last. Lvl. 3 Bladesurge is capable of killing the caster minions after a hit from the tower, which I think is a nice thing. It makes last hitting easier + the "Bladesurge to minion -> Bladesurge to champion" becomes easier, too.
I prefer to max E over W, because the extra stun/slow time is pretty neat.
You only need lv 2 blade surge to last hit after turret.
