This is how i play irelia and it works for me. As you can see i have the same starting item, feel free too take something else. 1.build have more AD in late game. 2.build have more armor in late game, and 3.build have more magic ressist. I made 3 build cuz the enemy team can have many ad(or feeded AD) or many AP(or feeded ap. Irelia is also a good solo laner(read more in ranked play). Please comment what you think and come with tips so make my build better.

I take armor pen mark and quintessence cuz she is melee and most off her spells are ad, and armor and magic ressist for defence.

I have 3 type of masteries i use but i use 21/9/0 most, i feel thats best. Tyhe other also works but then you may not take much dmg in start.

I feel Flash is a must spell on almost all champ. Irelia don't have very good escape abilitis and then Flash can come usefull. I like ignite best in case the enemy team have support or mundo so heal and mundos ulti work bad and also for early game so you don't need too Tower dive too get the kill.

all this builds work on ranked(for me). Remember too farm minions alot and try also too get kills but don't bee to aggresive. Farming minions til you get Trinity force and withs end you can start going realy aggresive. Bladesurge is a very good last hiter for Irelia, so use it much too farm or try too last hit with basic attack. If you have a good lane partner and you guys crushing them on lane(geting First blood or 2-4kills) you can rome too get your team better and your self. Irelia is a good solo laner so have that in mind if you have a jungler on your team, but then you can't bee very aggresive.
