This is my first guide of irelia and i hope you like it.


Firts of all you NEED to farm a lot in early game in order to get your B.F.Sword fast.
You will deals tons of damage with this item even at lower levels.
Buy Berserkers Greaves. Why no Mercury? Well, look at your passive;)
Farm for a Black Cleaver and you will be the man in teamfigths.
Now its time for Lifesteal.
Buy a n Emblem of Valor and then Youmuus Ghostblad for the CDR, Armor Pen and Attack speed boosts.
After Starks Fervor rush GA.
Now its your choice:
Frozen Mallet (more survivability+slow)
Madreds Bloosrazor (against high HP teams)
Last Whisper (high Armor Teams)
Force of Nature/Thornail (against heavy Caster/Damage teams)
But if you are doing quite well with out survivability you should buy Tiamat tis item is SO DANGEROUS in team figths and its my favorite^^



Laning:
You should try to go with a nice supporter like Sona or Soraka on a lane.
Soraka is a nice character because she has got a mana heal and can easily out zone the enemies.
Sona is very nice because of her Stun and her auras.

In the first 10-15 minutes you should try to farm non-stop.
This will give you a pretty high amount of gold and increases with a Twisted Fate in your team.

After you finished Starks Fervor you should be able to face most chars in 1vs1 and survive that encounters.

In team fights you should always focus on killing the enemy caster because most casters have very high burst damage.
Use your ultimate to keep up your healthbar and always stun the enemy Carry.
But dont be too aggressive Irelia has got high burst damage but low survivability.
Irelia is also great at killing high armor tanks because of the true damage of her W spell so if there is only their tank alive activate W whenever you can.
