Ionian Fervor [Passive]: Is Irelia's passive. If Irelia see a enemy target it give Irelia reduced Stuns and slows etc. The more champions she see the more % is reduced. In team-battles this passive is really good. If Irelia see 3 enemy champions she gain 40% reduced stuns and slows, which is very good.

Bladesurge [Q]: Is a great spell to get into battles and it can save ur life, Bladesurge to a minion to get out of range from other players.It's a really good last-hit minion skill. If the target is killed the full CD is refunded, so is some of the mana cost from Bladesurge.

Hiten Style [W]: Gives you a passive health restoration when you hit a target enemy, and if activated you get true extra damage to your target.Hiten Style is a very good jungling spell. Hiten Style make it possible to jungle with Irelia.

Equilibrium Strike [E]: Is a single nuke spell wich deal damage and if you're health is lower than your targets it Stuns, otherwise if you're health is higher it deal damage and slows the enemy target. This is a very good spell to change a battle. If you're playing against Master Yi and those it's very good to get the stun and kill them before they recover from the stun.

Transcendent Blades [R]: Is one of the best ultimates in my opinion. Cause when you're low on health you simple fling the 4 daggars to minions and gain alot of health. Transcendent Blades make you fling 4 Daggers that heal you 20% of what the damage dealt.

Spell combination: [Q] + [E] + [W] + [R] + [Exhaust] if you have it

1.Exhaust is the best summoner spell i think, you can just nuke enemies down in a second.
2.Flash/Ghost to survive fights and it can make you get the range to Bladesurge to them and nuke them down:)
3.Cleanse can be good but I dont use it.
4.Fortify/Heal/CV/Revive etc. Dont use it.

The item guide i selected is a good choice but like ThornMail or Banshee's veil can be replaced like everything else but the "Main" item for Irelia is "Sheen" so i recommend that you get it and upgrade it to "Trinity Force". If the enemy team is like a tanky team it's really good to get "Madred's Bloodrazor". You should change the item guide on the ground of your enemies like get much Magic resistance and so.A good way to play Irelia to is to get much AS (like Phantom Dancer)and lifesteal, if you buy a Spirit Visage you can be a Lifesteal tank. It's pretty hard but not impossible. Good luck;)

Irelia can play the Laning game good with much creep kills and if you're partner is a good her***er or a champion that stuns/slows can provide in much kills and assists which gives you alot of money to get new items and so. Irelia is really good with the "Red Buff" which comes from the lizard in the "Summoner's Rift" it slows enemy target and deals some damage to the target, the damage of the "Red Buff" is increased per level. If you want to stay long at you're lane it's good to get the "Blue Buff" so you can use the spells to farm minions.

I put 22/0/8 in masteries cause I think it's good to get the bonus damage and the extra healing from the Utility tree.Just follow my masteries, it's goood and if you want to make changes it can be better. Remember to specc your Summoner spells to get them better.
